Field Service Engineer / Service Technician / Valve Technician required for a global, leading manufacturer of valves.The successful Field Service Engineer / Service Technician / Valve Technician will be responsible for providing on-site servicing, fault diagnosis, and repairs of packaged systems, valves, and steam distribution equipment, while delivering tailored technical solutions and maintaining strong customer relationships across the North of the M62 corridor.The successful Field Service Engineer / Service Technician / Valve Technician must have experience in servicing valves, steam systems, or process equipment (mechanical or electrical bias), ideally with a background as a Field Service or Valve Engineer, and based north of the M62 corridor.Package

Attend customer sites to carry out servicing, repairs, and emergency breakdown response.

Diagnose faults and repair packaged systems, valves, plant rooms, and steam distribution systems.

Complete service reports using the company app and communicate findings effectively.

Build strong customer relationships and provide tailored technical solutions.

Working remotely, covering the North of the M62 corridor, including Liverpool, Manchester, Bradford, Rochdale, Huddersfield, and Leeds.

Responsibilities

Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer / Service Technician / Valve Engineer / Valve Technician / Steam Engineer / Steam Technician, or similar.

Experience servicing valves, steam-related products, process equipment, or similar, either from a mechanical or electrical bias.

Preferably based North of the M62 corridor, including Liverpool, Manchester, Bradford, Rochdale, Huddersfield, and Leeds.

Full UK driving license.

Provide support to the Head of IT

Provide overall support for software/hardware used by all employees of the company including remote workers

Take responsibility for managing the asset inventory

Support onboarding and offboarding of employees (account setup, equipment preparation)

Assist with maintaining backups, antivirus systems, and system monitoring

Work closely and maintain good relations with a variety of IT partners

Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to meet business needs

Provide support for printers in conjunction with third party supplier

Understand and support the telecoms systems used within the company

Support the in-house Intranet system and related processes

Understand and provide user support for the company CRM and booking system.
