Conduct incoming, inline, and end-of-line testing on components and products to verify compliance with quality standards

Calibrate and maintain tooling and equipment to ensure ongoing accuracy and reliability within the Repair Centre

Prepare repair documentation, generate quotes, create work orders and deliver progress updates

Decontamination and incoming inspection of products returning from the field

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, supporting the introduction of new repair procedures, tooling and processes

Assist with inventory management of spare parts and materials required for repair activities

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Experience in a manufacturing/service/repair environment

Experience using electrical test equipment; Oscilloscope, multi-meter etc.

Experience soldering/ performing PCB repair and fault finding will be highly advantageous

Essential skills and experience:

A minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer.

Proven experience developing with PHP 8+, including the Laravel Framework (10/11/12).

Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and software design principles (e.g., SOLID, Clean Code).

Experience with JavaScript ES6+, including modern frameworks like VueJS 2/3 and TypeScript.

Proficiency with relational and non-relational databases, specifically MySQL (5.7/8.x) and Redis.

Experience with TDD (Test-Driven Development) using tools like PHPUnit and mocking frameworks.

Practical knowledge of building and integrating with REST and SOAP APIs.

Experience with Git for source control and CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions and CircleCI.

A strong grasp of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

Experience with AWS Cloud services, including EC2, SQS, RDS, and Elasticache.

It would be great if you already have:

An understanding of event-driven architecture and message queues (Laravel Horizon, SQS).

Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.

Experience with a microservices or service-oriented architecture.

Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, SaSS, and TailwindCSS.

Experience with testing tools like Cypress or Selenium.

Familiarity with NoSQL databases like DynamoDB.

Understanding of DevSecOps principles.

Experience working in a PCI-DSS compliant environment.

Experience of DevOps (IaC, configuring CI/CI, automation and infrastructure management).

Software Development Engineer in Test - FTC

This is a 1 year FTC.We are looking for a meticulous SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) to join our digital payments team and collaborate with developers on functional and non-functional aspects of our software, building reusable test automation solutions, and ensuring applications meet high-quality standards.You will:

Design and develop automated tests

Perform both functional tests to verify features and non-functional tests, such as performance and security testing.

Work closely with development teams to understand application features, provide feedback on design

Identify defects and work with developers to implement solutions and ensure product quality.

Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure that automated testing is integrated seamlessly into the software development workflow.
