What We re Looking For

Experience & Skills

  • Minimum 1 year in a UK-based Senior Interior Designer role, specifically in high-end residential projects. Must have Residential, no Comercial experience.
  • Strong project management skills: from concept to completion.
  • Confident leading site visits, design meetings, and liaising with clients and consultants.
  • Experience with tender documentation, scheduling, FF&E procurement and installations.
  • Clear, confident, and professional communicator both verbal and written.
  • A highly organised, methodical approach and ability to work independently.
  • A team player with a positive, proactive attitude and excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Confident overseeing and mentoring junior team members.

Technical Proficiency

  • Proficient in Vectorworks (VWX) or confident in transitioning from AutoCAD.
  • Experience using ESTI for procurement and FF&E tracking.
  • Skilled in producing high-quality CAD drawing packages, including layouts, elevations, joinery details, and schedules.
  • Familiar with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign and Photoshop).

Key Responsibilities

Project & Team Management

  • Lead design projects from concept through to install with minimal supervision.
  • Manage timelines, budgets, and deliverables across multiple workstreams.
  • Conduct and minute site meetings, track programme progress, and liaise with consultants.
  • Oversee FF&E installations and manage project snagging.
  • Delegate tasks clearly and ensure accountability across the design team.
  • Train and mentor new team members.

Studio Culture & Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Directors and fellow designers to drive creative output and uphold studio values.
  • Contribute to the development of studio systems and processes.
  • Represent the business at industry events and support with business development.
  • Full-time studio-based role with regular site visits.
