Responsibilities

Qualifications

Strong understanding of architecture frameworks, reference architectures, and designing across business, data, application, and technology domains.
Experience architecting solutions across cloud providers, SaaS platforms, and in house systems, ideally within a retail environment.
Knowledge of cloud native integration patterns and how to apply AI to drive measurable business outcomes.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts for non technical stakeholders, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Experience designing solutions in both agile and waterfall delivery environments, working effectively with multiple third party solution providers.

The Role

The IT Risk and Controls Manager, within the Service Operations and Delivery team, assists with the implementation and ongoing development of IT risk and control procedures throughout the SIAM ecosystem. With a focus on proactive risk management and operational resilience, the role collaborates closely with IT stakeholders, service delivery teams, and providers to identify, communicate, and address compliance challenges, ensuring operational risks are effectively managed within the organisation’s risk appetite. You Will

Ensure IT systems and operational processes comply with relevant regulations and industry standards and conduct regular and thorough IT risk assessments in collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify potential compliance gaps and areas for improvement.
Drive operational resilience initiatives by ensuring IT systems and services are robust, recoverable, and capable of withstanding disruptions. Support the business continuity and disaster recovery (BC/DR) planning and testing processes from an IT risk and controls perspective, ensuring that appropriate measures and controls are in place, regularly reviewed, and improved to minimise the impact of incidents on business operations.
Manage the Group Technology Services (GTS) Operational Risk Register by diligently tracking operational risks, embedding appropriate controls within business processes, and providing regular updates on risk status. Consult closely with Cyber Risk and Information Security teams to align strategies, share insights, and ensure a unified approach to managing IT risks and collaborate effectively with the 2LOD GRC Team and engage with GTS stakeholders to drive a culture of compliance and strengthen overall governance structures.
Coordinate activities with audit teams to systematically review and evaluate IT controls and processes, addressing any identified weaknesses or instances of non compliance.

You Have

Experience of delivering IT risk, compliance or assurance activities including operational resilience.
Good knowledge of IT governance frameworks such as COBIT 5, ITIL, ISO 31000, 27005, 38500 and their interactions.
Experience of designing or reviewing IT processes and their controls and performing risk assessments.
Working knowledge of IT and operational risk, IT and enterprise architecture, IT strategy and IT outsourcing, service management, and delivery.
Proficiency in communicating and collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders.

As a Design Manager, you will take a leading role in managing and coordinating the design process on contractor led waste and water infrastructure projects.

Working as part of the project delivery team, you will drive design from tender through to construction and handover, ensuring solutions are safe, buildable, compliant, cost effective and aligned with programme constraints.

Here are some of the things that you’ll get involved in

Lead and manage the contractor led design process from tender stage through detailed design and construction support.
Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams including civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, ICA and process designers.
Act as the primary interface between design, construction, commercial and planning teams, ensuring design solutions support safe and efficient delivery.
Plan and manage design deliverables, information release schedules and design programmes to support construction sequencing and key milestones.
Chair and lead design coordination and design review meetings, ensuring timely decision making and closure of actions.
Ensure designs meet contractual requirements, client specifications, regulatory standards and water industry best practice.

Produce progress updates and reports for project leadership and client teams.

You will actively task and monitor a Systems Engineering team in line with the clients processes, ensuring delivery of contracted outputs to the agreed schedule under the direction of the Project Engineering Manager. You will also support the delivery of budgeted tasks, bids, and installations, enabling first-line teams through effective coordination of systems, hardware, and product resources.

You will prepare and review engineering estimates and schedules, ensuring they are accurate and aligned with project goals for review by the Project Engineering Manager and other stakeholders.

Core duties:

Provide support to proposal writing, costing and bidding
Forecast the required resource for each task and update the resource management toolset as directed by the Project Engineering Manager.
Provide support to the Project Engineering Manager for the appropriate identification of engineering risks and subsequent analysis.
Assist in the preparation of engineering reports for Governance Meetings.
Deputies for the Project Engineering Manager as required.

Essential Skills:

You will bring a good understanding and practical experience of systems engineering principles.
You will demonstrate solid knowledge of systems engineering governance and lifecycle guidance processes.
You will have some familiarity with hardware and software engineering values, which will be an added advantage

With a move to a brand-new purpose-built facility underway, this is an exciting opportunity to join a growing and highly skilled team on a newly awarded project.

They are seeking multiple Senior Project Engineers to join their New Product Introduction (NPI) team. This role is responsible for the design, development, verification and qualification of new fuel system components. You will act as a technical leader, customer liaison, and key contributor to the successful delivery of engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Project Delivery

Act as the technical lead for assigned projects, ensuring delivery to specification, on time and within budget.
Ensure customer requirements are fully understood and translated into compliant design solutions.
Create and maintain detailed planning for engineering activities in line with programme schedules and stage-gate processes.
Provide technical leadership and direction to junior engineers and technicians.
Lead and support failure investigations on fuel system components.

Experience with New Product Introduction and product qualification.
Ability to generate and review high-quality technical documentation.
Experience presenting at technical reviews with customers or internal stakeholders.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently.

Knowledge of fluid pumping technology.
