Based at our Luton Manufacturing site as the Manufacturing Engineering Manager Tooling youll be working across both our Defence and Civil business lines. You will provide and lead a team of Tooling and Cad Engineers in the design, manufacture and maintenance and control of all Site Tools.

This will involve the technical capability to create and design tools as solutions to support the manufacturing operations. Youll be accountable for delivering robust, capable manufacturing process technology as it applies to materials, tooling, part fabrication and assembly. The role involves the creation of significant tooling designs from initial concept through to production for the production of aircraft transparencies and Ice Protection Tooling, jigs and fixtures.

Among other activities, this will include responsibilities for 4 large CNC machines on site and calibration of current and the development of new or existing tooling. Supporting Manufacturing Engineering teams may also be required. The successful candidate will be experienced in a relevant engineering discipline and have a hands on approach, be able to prioritise jobs, be comfortable liaising with suppliers and other departments.

Network Architect/Technical Architect/Milton Keynes/6 Month Contract/Inside IR35/£600/SC Clearance/Security Cleared

An architect is required to support a major government body with the delivery and management of key national security capabilities.
Working with customers, engineering and development teams to support the solution as well as maintaining key business relationships within government and capability ensuring the security of the nation.
Providing key technical inputs and governance.

Skills
Excellent people skills and an ability to explain and understand technical complexity.
Experience in relevant roles, including technologies in enterprise and virtual environments and of working within a secure environments.
Experience of networking architecture
o Network Topology and configuration
o Wireless network architecture
o Firewalls
o Network load balancing
o Inter/intra site connectivity
o Virtual private network configuration
o Public could connectivity

Experience creating technical and architectural documents such as options assessments, low and high-level technical designs.
Experience of requirements management and ownership of deliverables.
Working knowledge of auditing and security products configuration.
A comprehensive understanding of NCSC, GDS, CIS, Cyber Essentials, and NIST IT security principles, along with experience in UK government technology strategies and policies.

Desirable (in no priority order)
Worked in a Matrix organisation structure.
IT Technical qualifications or equivalent experience
TOGAF or equivalent experience
Knowledge of Public cloud offerings
