As the System Design Integrator you will be responsible for problem resolution, defining requirements; designing and integrating products, performing technical analysis; verifying products, physical & functional systems and components throughout the product lifecycle for the Naval and Aero Engines.

What you will be doing:

  • Apply understanding of gas turbine product operation, product systems, sub-systems and interactions. Integrate and manage interfaces.
  • Design of systems using Systems Engineering principals including the use of Robust Design tools & techniques to achieve optimum solutions at product and sub-system level.
  • Problem resolution including ownership of, for example: root cause investigations, problem reports, Red Tops, Safety Alert Reports (SARs), Quality Concerns, Major Quality Investigations (MQIs), Drawing Alteration Requests (DARs).
  • Planning and management of product change, design technical approval and technical investigations

The work

The successful applicant will work a 4.5-day week, including flexitime in a full-time permanent capacity, equating to a 35 hour week as part of a small team of Manufacturing Engineers.

How You’ll Contribute

The successful applicant will:

  • Prepare detailed equipment specifications that meet aerospace standards for precision, traceability, and repeatability. Design future processes implementing lean tools and methods in accordance with the GKN standard lean tool suite
  • Coordinate supplier selection, RFQs, technical reviews, contract negotiations, and design verification

This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior engineer who enjoys responsibility, variety and working on a wide range of machinery while supporting a busy fleet that is critical to major infrastructure and earthworks projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing and repairing a fleet of heavy plant equipment including ADT’s, dumpers, excavators and other large earthmoving machinery. You will play a key role within the engineering function, ensuring machines are maintained to a high standard, faults are diagnosed efficiently and downtime across the fleet is kept to an absolute minimum.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills, previous experience working on heavy plant equipment and be confident working independently while supporting the wider engineering team. Experience working on equipment such as Volvo, CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi or similar OEM machinery would be highly beneficial.

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Dental Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of secure, resilient dental IT solutions for complex and often disconnected environments. Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end solution architecture for dental platforms operating in disconnected or intermittently connected environments (e.g., deployed clinics, mobile units, remote facilities).

Design secure, resilient architectures covering:

  • Practice management systems
  • Dental imaging and records
  • Clinical workflows
  • Data synchronisation and replication

Define offline-first and edge patterns, including:

  • Local data stores
  • Sync conflict resolution and understand challenges
  • Store-and-forward models
