The role:

As an EC&I Engineer, you will help drive our goals by:

Ensures programmes are in place to manage compliance inspections across EC&I equipment on site (ATEX, Functional
Safety, Gas Detection, Fire Alarms, Environmental Analysers, Fire Suppression, Test Equipment calibration etc).
Provide second level technical support to the Maintenance shift teams to assist root cause analysis of complex plant EC&I breakdowns.
Ownership of EC&I maintenance plans ensuring industry best practice is embedded across the plant.
Ensure instrument loop calibrations are completed to satisfy ISO9001 and 14001 requirements.
Working with the Senior Electrical Engineer, ensure contingency plans are in place to support site controls systems and instrumentation as well as the power distribution to meet the business/operational needs.
Lead root cause analysis (RCA) of complex breakdowns of plant issues.

Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
Experience managing maintenance of industrial EC&I equipment within a similar industry (chemical,
pharma, food etc)
Good understanding of maintenance techniques and their application
Knowledge of applicable international standards (e.g., IEC 60079, IEC 61511)
Experience working in a regulated environment (e.g., COMAH, Chemical, Oil & Gas etc.) is not essential but highly desirable

About You:

As a project leader, you will guide our teams and support our clients in the delivery of the portfolio as well as support bidding and proposition activity as we continue to grow the team.

Responsibilities:

We require an experienced individual of high calibre to lead projects for the Water Engineering team at Tetra Tech across a range of activities such as river, coastal and flood defence appraisal and design, hydraulic modelling and hydrology assessment, surface water management and the development of business cases. We work across a diverse range of clients delivering challenging infrastructure projects for the private and public sector.

Our projects can range in size from £10k commissions up to £100m schemes covering flood risk projects for defence, transport, local government, utility, infrastructure, commercial, industrial and residential development.You will work independently and proactively on technical aspects from a projects inception, determining client briefs, to the delivery and close out of projects in accordance with best practice.

You will lead projects low and medium risk projects both technically and as a project manager as well as support junior colleagues throughout the delivery of projects, including client facing and leadership roles. You will instruct, supervise and mentor junior staff in the design and management of schemes and work with clients to ensure delivery of projects to time and cost, and to help manage change. You will be supported by our senior technical leadership team throughout the delivery of your projects.

About The Role

We are seeking a full-time Associate Engineer with a strong technical and leadership background to support and help lead our structural engineering team. We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Principal Electrical Building Services Engineer to support and develop the project delivery capabilities of our busy and successful building services team.

Candidates will successfully lead and deliver multiple, medium complexity projects without supervision, or packages of high complexity projects under the direction of more experienced staff.You will provide advice to clients and will take responsibility for managing and cultivating client relationships and securing new work. You should be able to lead, or demonstrate the competency to lead, a team of less experienced staff as you may have line management responsibility.

Project work will vary and you will have experience across a range of sectors including life sciences, defence, education, commercial, residential, renewable energy, industrial, retail, healthcare and leisure within both public and private domains.

In this role you will be responsible for all aspects of design in the delivery of electrical engineering consultancy services for a portfolio of projects. You will be responsible for; undertaking calculations, production of drawings, producing specifications and reports, conducting site surveys, conducting construction stage duties, providing client liaison, consulting with members of design/construction teams and any other relevant duties required to comply with project briefs.

Producing and reviewing electrical design drawings will be key to your role. Experience of using Autodesk Revit MEP would be beneficial.If required further training in Revit and other systems will be provided.

You should be capable of managing your own workload and the workload of others, updating forward plans of workload regularly & working to time allocations.

The Oracle Retail Solution Delivery team develops the software and systems that support TJX’s core financial Oracle MOM suite applications including Stock Ledger, Sales Audit and Markdowns. This role leverages your experience with Oracle Technologies to deliver our scalable global applications.
