  • 5+ years - Expert level in enterprise storage systems (Dell, Pure, HPE, Cirrus) and SAN connectivity.
  • 5+ years - Strong automation and Scripting skills (Python, Ansible, Shell) with DevOps experience (CI/CD, Jenkins, Puppet, Chef).
  • Solid understanding of Linux, Windows, VMware, and cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Experience in storage migrations, platform services, and enterprise environments.
  • Excellent communicator, proactive, and ready to work independently on complex projects.

A large consultancy we are working with are hiring for a senior engineer to transform our global x86 estate into a fully automated Bare Metal as a Service (BMaaS) platform. This role focuses on abstracting hardware into a code driven service layer, integrating vendor tooling with orchestration and compliance automation.

What You’ll Do

Build automation across:

  • Lenovo XClarity | Dell OpenManage | HPE OneView

Integrate hardware provisioning with:

  • Ansible | Terraform

Export hardware telemetry into:

  • OpenTelemetry | Prometheus
  • Orchestrate DDI (DHCP/DNS/IPAM), PXE workflows, and integrate with ServiceNow for automated break-fix and tracking.
  • Define and programmatically enforce BIOS, RAID, NIC, and firmware “golden baselines.”
  • Deliver automated audit trails and Real Time state reporting.
