About the role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join one of the largest food-to-go sector companies. The successful Maintenance Engineer will have the opportunity to work with market leading kit and also have opportunity to train as well as progress into more senior positions.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring the smooth running of the factory, by performing reactive and planned maintenance work. Electrical installations.
  • Taking ownership of looking after the workshop, ensuring all the tools are correctly stored as well as ordering new stock when necessary.
  • Teaching junior members of the engineering team to company standard and to ensure their success where possible.
  • Fault-finding on both the electrical and mechanical components. No programming required but need to have the ability to check I/O’s, read schematics and check HMI Screens.

The ideal candidate will have an electrical bias.

  • Supporting security across Azure, M365, Windows Server and VMware environments
  • Working on a mix of BAU security operations + project work
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external SOC providers

What they’re looking for:

  • Strong Security Engineer experience (hands-on)
  • Experience with Azure + Microsoft 365 security
  • Solid Windows Server + VMware (Vsphere/ESXi)
  • Experience with SOC / monitoring tools (Darktrace / RocketCyber or similar)
  • Incident response, threat analysis and remediation
  • Knowledge of MFA, Conditional Access, endpoint security
  • Comfortable working across hybrid environments (cloud + on-prem)
