Job Title: Domestic Gas Engineer

Salary: £40,000 £45,000 per annum (Dependent on Experience)

The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Domestic Gas Engineer to join a growing and forward-thinking heating and renewable energy provider covering the Plymouth area.

This role is ideal for a skilled engineer looking to work with a modern business that is expanding into energy-efficient solutions such as heat pumps, alongside traditional gas systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on domestic gas appliances
• Diagnose faults and provide effective solutions
• Complete installations where required
• Ensure all work is completed in line with current Gas Safe regulations
• Deliver high levels of customer service at all times
• Accurately complete job reports and documentation

Requirements

• Valid Gas Safe registration (essential)
• Proven experience working on domestic gas systems
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload

Desirable

• Experience or interest in renewable technologies (e.g. heat pumps)
• Relevant domestic gas qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, CPA1, etc.)
