Control Systems Engineer The Role:

  • Complete software and program development for the installation, maintenance, commissioning and servicing of specialised line control and handling equipment

  • Maintain a duty of care for everyone on site - immediately report any health and safety concerns, or anything unsafe or potentially dangerous to management and stop the work continuing.
  • Assist with rack installations and cabling to obtain the maximum cooling efficiencies from the deployment.
  • Logging of all faults and issues within Pulsant platforms and communicating and responding to tickets and requests in a professional and timely manner.
  • Perform system monitoring, environment monitoring, remote / smart hands activities on behalf of customers, 3rd parties and other Pulsant technical teams as required.
  • Carry out PPM tasks in a timely manner ensuring optimal building and facilities integrity, upkeep, maintenance, and aesthetics.
  • Stock control of Pulsant assets and store management.
  • Provide support for all day-to-day activities on the site and ensure site security and integrity is maintained at all times across the campus site.
  • Involvement with regards to testing and handover, and knowledge and understanding of any new infrastructure or hardware / software installed monitoring the facility.

What / who we’re looking for:

  • Maintenance Engineer, with experience working within a critical or commercial environment.
  • Completed electrical apprenticeship or similar - ideally with 18th edition wiring regulations.
  • Basic IT skills, Word and Excel.
  • Experience in some of the following would be very beneficial - L.V. switching, HVAC Systems, UPS Circuitry, Generators, BMS Systems, Fire Preventative Systems.

Overview

Design Engineer This position is responsible for designing and optimizing wireless infrastructure, including radio networks, antennas, and transmission systems, to meet coverage, capacity, and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and review designs for wireless telecom projects including site layouts, schematics, and equipment configurations.
  • Perform radio planning and RF propagation modelling for 4G/5G and other wireless technologies.

An established engineering and construction contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Design Engineer to support the delivery of civil design solutions across regulated clean and wastewater projects in the UK.

This is a contract opportunity suited to candidates with strong technical capability, leadership experience, and a background in the water sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce civil design deliverables that meet safety, quality and regulatory requirements
  • Identify efficient design solutions from scopes and site visits, communicating effectively with clients and project teams
  • Direct, support and develop CAD Technicians, junior designers and graduates
  • Prepare design risk assessments, reports and technical specifications
  • Ensure designs comply with relevant technical, professional and water company standards
  • Attend and present designs at HAZOP, ALM, KM and similar meetings

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 10 years’ design experience within the regulated water industry
