Jobstore are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer with a Mechanical bias to join our clients leading plastic moulding manufacturing operation based in Lancashire on a permanent night shift.
The right candidate will be responsible for the ongoing upkeep of equipment and machinery to ensure the continuous running of high volume production lines in an industrial setting. You will be involved in routine maintenance and organise repairs and will also be involved with control and monitoring of devices and occasionally in the manufacture of items that will help in maintenance.
With a strong Mechanical bias, your role is vital to the efficiency and progress of manufacturing and processing in this business. Working with other engineers on site, you will improve production facilities, reduce the incidence of costly breakdowns and develop strategies to improve the reliability and safety of plant, personnel and production.
Essential Requirements & Experience
Qualifications in mechanical engineering are essential.
This is a 40 hours per week position, working 10.00pm to 06.00am but this needs flexibility as and when required on occasion it may be necessary to work out of hours.
