Training provided for Telecoms Fibre Engineer / FTTP Engineer / Broadband installation engineer : - If you are successful in your application, you first day of engagement will be at one of our national training centres to complete your training. - Full attendance every day, Monday to Friday, is mandatory, missing days is not an option, as it will affect your ability to complete the course and progress within the role into your buddy period. What you’ll be doing:
Designing, building, testing, and deploying integration flows using SAP Integration Suite, with a focus on Cloud Integration (CPI), API Management, and Event Mesh.
Developing iFlows to support vital government processes, connecting SAP S/4HANA with legacy systems, HMRC APIs, and other public-sector platforms.
Ensuring all integrations meet high standards of reliability, security, and maintainability.
Working within an Agile team, participating in sprint planning, technical design sessions, and peer code reviews.
Following government IT standards and secure coding practices.
Producing clear technical documentation and architecture artefacts.
Collaborating with teams to support continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
What you’ll bring:
Proven experience in designing and deploying integration flows within SAP BTP, especially CPI, API Management, and Event Mesh.
Strong knowledge of REST, SOAP, OData, and SFTP protocols.
Solid scripting skills, particularly with Groovy, and experience with message mapping.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
Ability to produce comprehensive technical documentation.
Experience working with government systems such as HMRC, DWP, or HMPPS is highly desirable.
Eligibility for Security Check (SC) clearance; active SC preferred.
