This is a practical, electrically focused role suited to someone confident working with 12VDC and 24VDC systems, vehicle wiring looms, and engine communication networks.
Key Responsibilities
Install, wire and commission telemetry systems into 12V and 24V DC electrical systems across plant and hire equipment

As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with a strong interest in manufacturing, you will be able to make an immediate impact and quickly operate effectively within the role, joining a rapidly growing global leader in subsea technology, supporting design projects in manufacturing, offshore energy, and high-pressure subsea technology sectors worldwide.
In this role, you will complement established in-house design and manufacturing expertise, developing innovative engineering solutions for extreme operating environments across global markets. Working Arrangements

Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelors or higher degree in engineering, physics, or mathematics, or similar
Experienced senior engineering designer using 2D CAD or 3DCAD / and /or solidworks
Strong understanding of subsea technology, including seismic energy, renewable, and marine/diving applications in high-pressure environments.
Sound knowledge of electrical theory (voltage stress, resistance, voltage drop, current rating, and heating effects), hydraulics/pneumatics (pressure drop, fluid mechanics), and mechanical engineering (materials, stress/strain, fatigue).
Understanding of electrical cable design and construction, including cable geometry, helix angles, lay-lengths, and copper specifications.
Proficient in 2D CAD software (preferably AutoCAD); proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks) advantageous.
Preferred: Exposure to ISO 9001 quality systems and experience in corrective action resolution.
Experience with engineering documentation control systems (SolidWorks EPDM advantageous).
