Your new role
As a Stress Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering stress analysis and engineering assessments in support of nuclear design and safety cases. Your responsibilities will include:

• Undertaking finite element analysis using tools such as ANSYS or Abaqus, supported by hand calculations and MathCAD
• Producing substantiation and assessment reports in accordance with recognised design and assessment codes (e.g. ASME III, RCC-M or equivalent)
• Supporting project delivery through effective planning, progress reporting and stakeholder communication
• Working closely with internal teams, client engineers and technical leads
• Managing technical risk, change and requirements compliance within a regulated environment
• Ensuring outputs meet quality, cost and schedule expectations

What you’ll need to succeed
Essential:
Strong engineering fundamentals, with the ability to sense-check and validate stress and structural analysis results
Practical experience using finite element analysis tools such as Abaqus, ANSYS, Nastran or similar
Experience or awareness of working to engineering codes and standards in safety-critical industries
Degree qualified in an engineering discipline (or equivalent)
Strong technical report-writing capability
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within the UK

Desirable:

Experience working in the nuclear or fusion sector
3D CAD experience using tools such as Inventor, CATIA or SolidWorks
Exposure to CFD or dynamic modelling tools (e.g. LS-DYNA, Radioss)

Our client is a well-established engineering solutions provider operating within industrial process environments. As part of continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Project Engineer to act as the key link between sales, engineering, site delivery and the customer, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to specification.

This is a varied role combining project management, technical coordination and customer-facing responsibility. You will take ownership of projects from sales handover through to installation, commissioning and final documentation, working closely with internal engineers, subcontractors and client stakeholders across the UK.

Job Description

• Manage engineering projects from sales handover through to customer delivery
• Act as the main point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle
• Support sales colleagues with technical input into proposals and solutions
• Coordinate with design, site and installation engineers to ensure smooth delivery
• Lead project kick-off meetings and attend regular internal project reviews
• Specify equipment, place purchase orders and manage supplier and subcontractor progress
• Organise installations, prepare site documentation and oversee H&S and RAMS
• Support commissioning activities and compile O&M documentation
• Monitor project costs and liaise with finance on invoicing and commercial matters

Person Specification

Essential:

• Proven experience in a Project Engineer or similar technical project role
• Strong customer-facing skills with the ability to build long-term relationships
• Background in mechanical or electro-mechanical engineering environments
• Experience working on industrial or manufacturing customer sites
• HNC (or equivalent) qualification in Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering
• Strong communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills
• Willingness to travel across the UK as required

Desirable:

• Experience delivering engineered systems or turnkey projects
• Exposure to industrial process, extraction, ventilation or capital equipment projects
• Understanding of site installation, commissioning and contractor management
• Willingness to undertake occasional overseas travel for training

Security & Entrance Systems Installation Engineer
£40,000 (37.5 hour week)
North London

An international supplier of high security entry systems is currently going through a period of substantial growth and is, therefore, looking to expand its installation department. There are openings available for an additional Engineer, sitting in the installation team within the NorthLondon region.

The package on offer includes a basic salary of up to £40,000. With contracted hours of 37.5 per week, this works out at just shy of £21 per hour.

The successful Engineer(s) will be responsible for:

Installing a wide range of equipment including Portals, Pods, Revolving Doors, Speed Lanes, Turnstiles, Gates, Barriers, Access Control, and CCTV Systems
Electrical wiring
Adhering to industry health and safety guidelines
Providing customers with advice and identifying the best solution to their individual requirement

The successful Engineer(s) will:

Hold a clean driving licence
Hold a valid CSCS Card
Have electrical, mechanical, and electronic engineering experience

Be willing to work outside of normal working hours

About the Role:

We’re looking for Maintenance Engineers with strong electrical capabilities who can keep our production lines running safely, smoothly and reliably. You’ll be at the centre of day to day engineering activity, diagnosing and resolving electrical issues, carrying out preventative maintenance, and assisting the wider team to maintain high standards of safety, quality and performance. This is a hands on role where your electrical expertise will directly facilitate plant uptime and operational efficiency.

Main Responsibilities:

You’ll work across the full production area, responding to both electrical and mechanical issues, prioritising what needs attention and ensuring equipment is safe, compliant and ready for use. Your work will include diagnosing electrical faults, carrying out routine maintenance, delivering planned interventions and making sure all actions are properly recorded in the CMMS.

You’ll contribute to maintaining key standards around Health & Safety, Food Safety and product quality, taking care to follow correct isolation procedures and safety practices. Part of your role will involve working with production teams to minimise downtime and contribute to drive continuous improvement activity, sharing knowledge and helping to embed simple maintenance practices where appropriate.

You’ll coordinate with external contractors on site, ensuring work is carried out safely and in line with agreed processes. Clear communication and thorough handovers will be a natural part of your routine so that each shift is fully informed and able to operate effectively.

You’ll use your judgement to recognise when issues require escalation and when swift action can prevent disruption. Your role is one that helps keep the plant moving, and your decisions and actions will directly influence reliability and performance.

This is a permanent position working to a rotating shift pattern of 3 on and 3 off 12 hours, early and late shifts, across the year.

About You:

We’re looking for engineers who bring strong electrical capability, ideally with Level 3 or equivalent training, and experience diagnosing and repairing electrical issues in a manufacturing environment. If you can confidently work across motors, sensors, control systems and fault finding, you’ll fit comfortably into the team and the demands of the role.

A Senior PCB Design Engineer skilled in PCB design and Layout will use their expertise to shape the direction of PCB design within a thriving Technical Consultancy. Workshop Engineer Stafford (Days Monday to Friday)

Are you an experienced Workshop Engineer who has worked on Heavy Vehicle maintenance either in the Army/Construction/Plant Maintenance or similar? We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer who will be based out of our client site in Stafford.

As Workshop Engineer you will proactively maintain a fleet of MOTS and COTS products, both company and customer owned within their engineering capabilities. Youll maximise the operational availability for the customer by investigating, understanding and eliminating failed/fault operation of those products such that the fix is as rapid and cost effective as possible while ensuring continued safe and effective operation for the foreseeable future.

You will be involved in;

• Identify the root cause of a breakdown in a timely manner and ensure the correct parts are obtained using the nominated supply chain, including when required
• Identify any further work required on a machine and ensure the customer is made aware
• Complete all related job and service documentation with accurate data and all necessary signatures/documents obtained from the customer.
• Repair, maintain, inspect and service plant, equipment such as Fork Trucks and associated ancillaries to current company standards and LOLER and PUWER legislation, both at regional pool location and on site as directed, using effective time management systems.
• Maintain local stocks of spares, CES, ancillaries, attachments and local technical documentation, as appropriate.

• Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Experience in construction related plant/MHE/HGV/Agricultural/Fork Truck maintenance would be highly desirable or similar experience
