Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer who will be responsible for providing engineering resources for both planned and reactive maintenance activities to minimise downtime and eliminate quality issues. This role ensures the reliability, efficiency, and safety of all production equipment and site utilities within our fast-paced FMCG environment. In addition, the engineer supports continuous improvement initiatives and ways of working in line with the business strategy, while complying with all legislative, business, and site procedures and practices. This position requires a hands-on approach across mechanical and electrical disciplines, ensuring operational continuity and adherence to health, safety, and food quality standards.
Working Hours
41.25 hours per week, on a two-weekly rotating shift cycle.
Weekend coverage may be required depending on business needs and will be distributed fairly across teams.
Key Responsibilities of the Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer
· Self starter- Able to operate in a start-up business. Being able to identify what good looks like and strive to achieve it in everything that you do.
· Fault diagnosis and breakdown repairs of plant and site service equipment utilising Simple Problem Solving to drive 100-year fix mentality
· Assist in the development and delivery of Planned Maintenance and Maintenance requests.

· Carry out Risk Assessments on non-routine tasks
