As a Quantitative Engineer, you’ll build with purpose - solving real-world problems with measurable impact.   • Develop and Engineer: Write clean, efficient, maintainable code to support index calculations, back-testing, performance attribution and analytics frameworks used for internal and external stakeholders. WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Minimum 2 years experience of quantitative analytics, research and development within financial services with a bank, asset manager, insurance company or related vendor. Strong background and expertise in data and methods applicable within risk management, portfolio construction, systematic investment strategies, cross-asset cash and derivative instruments and conventions are required.
  • Graduate with an advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in Mathematics, Computer Science, Financial Engineering, Statistics, Physics or related scientific discipline, with any further professional qualifications being welcome.

As a Lead in the Engineering Practices team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and advancing engineering practices across the organisation. What we’ll need from you

  • Proven experience designing and developing complex, production-grade Tableau dashboards and reports for business stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with other solutions for data visualisation and reporting is a plus.
  • Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to interrogate large and complex datasets to surface meaningful insights.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python for data querying, transformation, and validation. Experience with other languages and technologies (e.g., KDB/q) is a plus.
  • Ideally, familiarity with TabPy and Gen AI integrations in the context of data visualisation and reporting, alongside a good general understanding of Gen AI capabilities and solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience in data curation, data quality management, and data governance, including data validation and reconciliation processes, data lineage, metadata management, access controls, and documentation standards.
