Arla Lockerbie has received approximately £73.8 million in investment since 2005. Sixty percent of our colleagues at the site have over ten years of service, and around 75,000 cows rely on the dairy each day to process their milk. If you placed all the blocks of cheese produced at Lockerbie in a year end to end, they would reach a height equivalent to 2,428 Eiffel Towers. The amount of whey concentrate produced annually would be enough to fill four Olympic-sized 50-metre swimming pools. The Arla Lockerbie site was officially opened by HRH Queen Elizabeth in 1975.
