As a Peripatetic Head of Maintenance at a Barchester care home, you’ll travel across your region to make sure we have a clean and well-maintained environment so that residents feel at home and staff can do their jobs well. You can expect plenty of variety as a Head of Maintenance with us. You’ll turn your hand to all sorts of tasks within the care home building as well as in the gardens and grounds. That could mean fixing a leaky tap one minute and planting some new bulbs the next. You should be comfortable working alone, leading a team and supporting the General Manager with annual budget planning. We’ll also need you to liaise with contractors on jobs that fall outside the expertise of your team.

The team is heavily investing in Rust for core services, driven by performance, reliability, and cost efficiency at scale. You’ll be hands‑on across the full lifecycle - from design through to production support - and will also interact with an existing .NET/C# ecosystem where required.
The environment is highly distributed, processes very high volumes of data, and runs primarily on AWS. Engineers are expected to take ownership, make pragmatic design decisions, and operate comfortably in a fast‑moving, production‑focused setting.

ROLE SUMMARY:
The Director, Network Reliability Engineering is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing and managing the organization’s complex global network infrastructure. Reporting to the Head of Operations, NPS, this position will lead a high-performing team together with peers in other region to deliver operational excellence, ensure network reliability, and drive transformative initiatives that enhance the scalability and efficiency of network services.
LSEG runs one of the world’s largest networks globally, comprising of low latency high frequency trading systems, real time market data distribution and over 100 points of presence 24/7. Operational resiliency and stability are core given the systemic importance of this critical national infrastructure.
We are seeking a Senior Technology Leader to run our global network operations across 4 product lines in NPS: LAN connectivity, WAN& Edge connectivity, Market & Customer Connectivity and Application Network Connectivity. This is a critically important role as the team supports all business divisions for the group.
We need a motivational leader who can improve the operational efficiency, support the transformative programs, whilst improving availability and performance of our network.
Senior level stakeholder management is required, in addition to managing relationships with clients, partners and all internal service groups.
