As deputy to the Cloud and Infrastructure Manager, you’ll provide senior-level technical expertise across cloud, infrastructure, networking, and security, ensuring Neptune’s IT estate is robust, scalable, and fit for the future. You’ll bring proven experience in a senior infrastructure or systems engineering role, demonstrated technical competency across several of the following: Microsoft Server Operating Systems, M365 Ecosystem, Microsoft Azure, MS SQL, Firewalls, Routing & Switching, SD-WAN, Microsoft Intune / Autopilot, MDR systems (e.g., Arctic Wolf, CrowdStrike), IT Security Principles, DNS, and Monitoring Solutions. We’d love it if you have sector experience in retail, manufacturing, warehouse distribution, or Digital Marketing.

We’re looking for a Cyber Threat Intelligence Specialist to join our Cyber Security function in a pivotal role as we continue to advance Drax’ cyber resilience.

As a Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst, you’ll produce high quality cyber threat intelligence that identifies, analyses and communicates threats, vulnerabilities and emerging trends to Drax’s IT, OT and cloud environments.

Job Description

We’re recruiting a Senior Information Security Analyst to support the Chief Information Security Officer in protecting and enhancing the organisation’s security posture across Technology Services.

This is a hands-on, operational role focused on monitoring, analysing and responding to security threats, while driving continuous improvement across our security operations capability. You’ll play a key role in incident response, threat intelligence, vulnerability management and ensuring effective use of our security tools and processes to reduce risk across the technology estate.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, triage and respond to security alerts and events, ensuring effective prioritisation based on risk and impact
• Act as a first responder for security incidents, including participation in on-call support
• Analyse security data and alerts to identify trends, risks and potential threats
• Act as an escalation point for information security queries from colleagues and service delivery teams
• Support and coordinate patch management activities, validating effectiveness through vulnerability scanning
• Oversee and operate key security technologies, including SIEM, email and web gateways, and endpoint protection tools
• Monitor external threat intelligence sources and assess relevance to the organisation
• Produce and report on security metrics, KPIs and operational performance

Technical expertise

• Good understanding of information security principles, risk management and the threat landscape
• Experience of operating and monitoring security tooling, including SIEM, endpoint protection, and email/web security solutions
• Ability to proactively conduct threat hunting activities and develop or enhance detection analytics to improve identification of malicious activity
• Awareness of cloud security controls and standards
• Experience of managing enterprise systems, including Microsoft Active Directory, Windows and Linux
• Knowledge of network security technologies, including proxies, end point security tools and data loss prevention controls are highly advantageous

Skills and experience

• Experience working within recognised information security frameworks (e.g. ISO27001, NIST)
• Proven experience in an information security role, preferably within financial services or e-commerce
• Strong analytical capability, with the ability to interpret data and support decision-making
• Ability to take ownership of tasks and deliver through to completion
• Confident in providing challenge to improve security outcomes
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Well organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
• Demonstrates a commitment to continuous professional development (e.g. CISSP or equivalent)

Freedom Network Services has an exciting opportunity for a Security Engineer to support our contracts across Yorkshire and the North East. This role is ideal for a motivated engineer looking to develop and expand their skills in security systems, with opportunities for long-term career progression within the business.

You will work mobile throughout the region, completing installation, maintenance and fault-finding duties across a range of security and fire systems.

Some of the key deliverables in this role will include:

• Complete fault finding and repairs on a range of security systems, including Galaxy Alarms.
• Carry out servicing, fault diagnosis and repairs on fire and security equipment to current standards.
• Provide accurate, clear and concise reporting of all completed works.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience undertaking routine repairs and maintenance.
• Experience with RAMS processes and work permits.
• Strong fault-finding skills.
• Understanding of alarms and CCTV systems, with installation and maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of Galaxy Alarm systems (preferred).
• Clean Full UK Driving Licence.
