What will you be doing?
You’ll be making a huge impact on our products and player experience, helping to ensure our systems are always reliable and performant. This is a brilliant opportunity to take on a leadership role, mentor others, and help shape the direction of our technical teams. You’ll work alongside a team that values innovation, creativity, and a genuinely great work-life balance.
You’ll be a key part of ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of our critical systems and services. A typical day might look like this:
Ensuring system uptime by monitoring and maintaining the availability and reliability of our services.
Leading the team in implementing automation, monitoring, and incident response strategies.
Automating manual tasks and using tools like Terraform and Git to automate our infrastructure.
Developing and maintaining automated deployment pipelines to streamline releases.
Collaborating with development teams to ensure new features are designed with reliability in mind.
Experience:
Proven experience in a similar SRE role, particularly in a public cloud environment like AWS.
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
Experience with CI/CD and deployment management.
A strong understanding of observability, monitoring, and alerting.
Experience with containerisation technologies like Docker.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams.
Bonus experience:
Skills in database management.
Experience with Microservices Architecture.
Proficiency in integrating security practices into the DevOps process.
Familiarity with various programming languages and tech stacks.
