Hybrid requirements: This role has flexible working patterns.
What will you be doing?
Contributing to the building of game products from concept to release.
Technical discussions on implementing game mechanics.
Collaborate with other members of the game development team to create a cohesive and polished product.
Maintaining current software and systems/fixing bugs
Leading projects from a technical perspective.
Technical mentoring of junior team members.
Experience:
Knowledge of JavaScript/Typescript or another high-level language
Understanding of OOP programming principles
Experience of game development principles
Ability to communicate complex technical problems to non-technical stakeholders.
Code documentation skills.
Good understanding of agile methodologies, and workflow
Ability to focus on task at hand.
Attention to detail.
Problem-solving abilities.
Bonus experience:
Knowledge of Pixi-JS
Webpack
Source control (git)
Shader authoring
