Description

Hybrid requirements: 2 days per week in the office.

Who we’re looking for: A passionate Python Developer who is interested in using new technologies to solve real business problems

The challenge: To maintain and enhance our Python-based payment and billing systems while collaborating with the data team to ensure consistent Python development practices across Tillo

Where you’ll work: This role will be based in our Hove office 2 days a week

Day to day this role will:

Build out our Python services using technologies including FastAPI, Docker and Kubernetes
Integrate to third-party services and APIs
Support the Platform team (helping to maintain helm charts and docker files for Python services)
Maintain the high standards of our codebase and test suite
Pair program with other Engineers and participate in code reviews

We’re looking for experience with:

Python on web applications using frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask or Django
Secure development principles and test driven development
Git version control systems
Building and integrating to APIs

It’s not essential, but we’d love to hear about it if you have experience with:

AWS
Writing automated tests
Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies
CircleCI or similar pipeline tools
