Project Quality Engineer:
As someone already working as a Project Quality Engineer.
Your week has structure.
As a Project Quality Engineer, you’re in daily conversation with your Project Manager because quality & delivery move together.
You’re in the weekly customer quality meeting because they expect clear answers, not general updates, as a natural problem solver and great communicator you are there as the go between.
As a Project Quality Engineer you spend time on the shop floor, standing at the visual board and check progress against the plan… You know how to connect documentation to reality.
· You review technical drawings properly.
· You work through ITPs line by line.
· You check castings, traceability and lifetime records before anything is signed off.
You know as a Project Quality Engineer that the paperwork and the product have to match.
When non conformities arise you lead the response:
· Weekly meetings.
· Facts gathered.
· Root cause understood.
· Feedback delivered to the supplier or the customer clearly and professionally.
If your background is in aerospace, defence, nuclear, subsea or another regulated engineering environment, this will feel familiar and you will feel right at home with the high standards, audit trails & documentation that stands up to scrutiny.
There are 31 people across quality, you will join an experienced team, that bring extensive industry insight and are generous in sharing their expertise.
The Quality Manager has done every role in the department and progressed quickly because of it. Standards are high because as you know in this industry they have to be. If you operate as a strong Project Quality Engineer, you will have autonomy and backing.
Salary is £38,000 to £42,000.
Overtime is paid at time and a half.
There is an option to accrue up to 37 hours per year and take that back as additional leave. 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, and you can buy or sell up to five days. Pension matched up to 6 percent, rising to 8 percent after five years.
Life assurance at three times salary. Free parking. Flexible hours with an early Friday finish, and something very rare in this industry a one stage interview, when they know they don’t mess around.
If you are a Project Quality Engineer who prefers being embedded in the project rather than reviewing from the sidelines, this is definitely worth a conversation.
If you’d like more information or want to talk it through, just drop us a message, or send your CV to the email above.
By submitting my CV, I acknowledge and accept that Marshall Harmony will collect and process my personal information for recruitment purposes and will retain it for a minimum of 24 months in accordance with their Privacy Policy and T&Cs, available at: (url removed)> | (url removed)/terms-conditions/

As a Quality Engineer you are already the person people look to when something doesn’t feel right…
As a Quality Engineer here, your world is the shop floor.
You are the one in goods in checking what’s arrived before it ever touches production, you’re reviewing paperwork, 3.1 certs, traceability, making sure what’s on the page matches what’s in front of you.
As a Quality Engineer, you don’t just glance, you check!
You understand basic drawings and a route card.
You can read what’s required and compare it to what’s been delivered. If something is missing, unclear or wrong, you go back and say so…Professionally & directly.
This isn’t a desk job.
As Quality Engineer here you interfaces with every department:
· You’ll be checking components before they get delivered to the client
· Carrying out 10 percent random inspections.
· Reviewing manufacturing records (inspection reports, ndt reports, weld docs).
· Making sure the paperwork stacks up.
Attention to detail matters because you’ll review a lot of documentation. And when you see a gap, you don’t just write an email and wait… you act and report.
You know that a strong Quality Engineer raises a snag and then walks back out onto the shop floor to fix it. You work with manufacturing to correct the issue and get it right first time. You report it, yes… But you’re involved in the solution.
If you’ve been working as an inspector in aerospace, defence, nuclear, subsea or another regulated engineering environment, this could be your natural step .
As Quality Engineer you need to be confident in having a voice… You are professional and direct, you can challenge when needed but keeps relationships intact.
This is not about hiding in quality. It’s about operational presence.
There are 31 people across quality, you will join an experienced team that bring extensive industry insight and are generous in sharing their expertise.
They will respect a Quality Engineer who understands the detail and isn’t afraid to stand by their judgement.
And you manager has been in your shoes and done your job, so will be there to support and guide you.
The salary on offer is between £38,000 to £42,000.
