The Opportunity:
You will provide an independent visibility and assurance that manufacturing and related processes are correctly applied across all NPI Programs. You will provide support and advice on all aspects of quality within New Product Introduction. You will provide support in the identification and implementation of sustainable process improvements to existing methods and processes. You will support Manufacturing in the identification and reduction of project risk or problem areas / issues associated with process application, process effectiveness or compliance across all NPI programs.

Reporting to the Product Assurance Manager, responsibilities include the following activities:

  • Provision of professional support and advice on all aspects of quality within NPI Manufacturing UK; apply quality expertise to critical business issues to support business excellence, continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
  • Provision of quality assurance assistance to NPI Manufacturing UK in support of manufacturing excellence including development and delivery of quality awareness and other process and quality-related training.
  • Supporting Manufacturing UK on all NPI programmes to achieve cost, time and quality targets. Assessing and controlling the product assurance quality processes and the resulting outputs.
  • Assuring to and implemented in Company production programmes, and providing the appropriate level of support to improve the effectivity of processes used by the Company Business Management System is correctly tailored within NPI
  • Confirm through a programme of Independent assessments and audits that processes and quality requirements are being successfully implemented, applied, and improved. Provide reports to Management that identifies the outcome of audits and issues. Monitor and facilitate the progression of any improvements from audit activities and the timely closure of identified issues.
  • Maintaining strong links with Quality Assurance colleagues across MBDA (UK and Overseas) to enable the dissemination and achievement of Quality Objectives within NPI Manufacturing UK.
  • Work with Product Assurance Managers and other functions to define appropriate risk reduction strategies/action plans
  • Provide advice and help in the use of SAP as the non-conformance management tool and identify SAP improvement with respect to the Quality Module.
  • Facilitation and/or support to various levels of Non-Conformance Review Panels
  • Analysis of non-conformance defect data and acting on this data to undertake problem solving investigations identifying defect root cause and corrective action implementation.

We are supporting a large-scale Oracle Fusion ERP transformation and are looking for an experienced Oracle Fusion Test Lead to take ownership of the end-to-end testing strategy across Finance, Procurement and Projects modules.

This is a key leadership role within the programme, responsible for defining, managing and delivering the overall test approach for a full Oracle Cloud ERP implementation.

The Role

As Oracle Fusion Test Lead, you will:

  • Lead the full testing lifecycle across an Oracle Fusion ERP implementation
  • Define and deliver the overall test strategy and governance framework
  • Manage system, integration, UAT and regression testing phases
  • Oversee test planning, scripting, defect management and reporting
  • Work closely with functional, technical and business stakeholders
  • Drive quality assurance standards across the programme
  • Support agile or hybrid delivery approaches
  • Lead and coordinate internal and third-party testing resources

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience leading Oracle Fusion ERP testing
  • Delivered testing across at least one full Oracle ERP implementation (Finance, Procurement, Projects)
  • Experience using test management tools
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strategic thinker with strong planning capability
  • Degree level (or equivalent practical experience)

Desirable

IntaPeople are currently working with an established organisation who need a highly experienced Test Manager to join their Digital team and deliver on a large IT project estimated to have atleast 12+months left. Working with an established team you will provide testing resource and strategy to technical and non technical business stakeholders.

You will need to be available by March 2026.

This project will be UK based with regular travel to South Wales and Ad-hoc travel to their client site in Europe (expenses are covered for European travel).

You will be spending time on site in South Wales (Bridgend) atleast 1-2 days per month as a minimum.

This will be 2.5 days worth of work a week for 12months but additional hours/days are likely to be requested.

Required skills:

  • You will have strong experience in test management role with at least 10 years industry exposure
  • You will have experience in large and complex enterprise size projects
  • Strong experience in Test Strategy, Test Planning, Test Data, Test Scripting, Test Reporting and Defect Management
  • Able to manage multiple types of testing such as UAT, System integration Testing and End to End Testing
  • Experience working within various delivery methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.

Having experience within industries such as; automotive, automation, supply chain, manufacturing, logistics or SAP systems would be advantageous but not essential.

You ll be responsible for;

  • The creation and management of the project Test Strategy
  • Test Planning, Test Execution and Defect Management
  • Ensure key test documents such as test scripts, test evidence and test acceptance are produced and maintained to agreed quality and standard
  • Manage and oversee test activities both onsite and remotely
  • Work closely with key business users and key stakeholders
  • Drive the test function and collaborate with IT vendors across the organization
  • Coach, train and mentor internal and external peers on the understanding of the testing setup through to execution and delivery of the project.
  • Work closely with the IT Vendor team and support the IT Project Manager
