Hiring for a QA Tester to join an Agile delivery team working within a secure data environment. This role involves both manual and automated testing, supporting functional, integration, and end-to-end testing across data-focused projects.
Responsibilities:
Define and document Test Approaches, test activities, and deliverables
Produce test coverage matrices and test completion reports
Conduct Functional System Testing, Integration Testing, and support E2E testing
Analyse requirements and technical documentation to identify test scenarios
Write and execute manual and automated test scripts
Prepare test data and validate results using Risk-Based Testing (RBT) principles
Work closely with delivery teams, stakeholders, and third-party suppliers
Provide clear test status reporting and raise risks/issues proactively
Skills & Experience
Active SC Clearance
ISTQB Software Foundation Certification
Strong experience in Functional & Integration Testing
Test automation experience
Proficiency with tools such as Postman
Agile delivery experience
Experience with Data Warehouses, Data Marts, Data Migration & ETL
Strong SQL and database skills (Oracle or similar)
AWS experience
Experience with JIRA, Zephyr Scale (or similar), and Git
