What you will be doing
You will be responsible for leading and delivering a range of civil engineering projects from inception to completion, on projects valued between £10M to £150M. • Submit and manage any consents and approvals required from all third parties

• Review designer’s and contractor’s drawings for completeness of information and compliance with contract requirements, ensuring that ITP’s and ICS’s are being adhered to by the site team
• Check ongoing installation for compliance with contract requirements
• Provide expertise in planning and executing the materials handling equipment commissioning
• Responsible for the engineering temporary works on their projects in conjunction with the project team
• Produce monthly Status Reports and provide guidance in the production of the project programme
• Represent the Company at Pre-qualification, Pre-tender and Tender meetings and presentations
• Manage the project in line with the contract, including any amendments
• Maintain and report information to the CM and QS as requested for contractual notices and other correspondence with the client and subcontractors
• Fully understand the Employers Requirements, Contractors Proposals and contract sum analysis, including the preliminary budget
• Attend subcontractor pre-let meetings, contribute to production of subcontract orders, ensuring site management are aware of the scope and content
• Ensure the client, CM and QS are kept appraised of variations to the works and any matter likely to have commercial or contractual implications

Your new role
Due to the requirements of the role, you will need to be an organised individual who has previous management experience and a Project Manager on civils schemes, and ideally battery storage plants. This role will require 2 overnights within the week and 3 site days (typically Tuesday & Wednesday) with the rest of the week spent in their Tyrone office or a mix of working from home. Your new project will be the construction of a new battery storage plant compromising of groundwork’s, utilities and all civil engineering related tasks, with some industrial construction work. This role will see the Project Manager work alongside the team in overseeing the successful delivery of the schemes, programming works, appointing / overseeing sub-contractors and managing client demands. You will have excellent communication skills and will have a proven track record of maintaining positive working relationships. This role will require you to travel to UK sites 2 nights a week when flights and accommodation will be provided.

You will be required to have previous experience in a similar role and, ideally, have a degree in Civil or Construction Management with strong construction / civils management experience however, applicants with a different educational path should not be deterred from applying.You will require a technical civil engineering background and have experience taking control of site budgets, planning work, and delivering a project on time to the highest standards.Your new employer will be looking favourably on individuals who have worked on renewable energy projects either within windfarms or battery storage projects.
