Your responsibilities:

  • Managing and mentoring engineering professionals in your teams and domain, setting objectives for your teams and domain, owning the delivery of the outcomes, monitoring ongoing progress and performance within the OKR framework
  • Partnering with your product manager, other engineering managers, staff engineers, architect, agile coach and engineering director to formulate a domain level technical strategy
  • Building and maintaining relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Facilitate communication between teams under your leadership and enabling free exchange of information within your sphere of influence, developing appropriate organisational structure together with the Engineering Director
  • Resourcing of plans to support the business objectives and working with the Engineering Director on budgeting within the domain

Qualifications

  • Experience of providing technical leadership to an engineering team; with excellent analytical, problem solving and influencing skills, resilient, open to change and results oriented
  • Experience of coding and testing of analytics tracking code using Tealium iQ, Tealium Event Stream, and Adobe Analytics
  • Experience of integrating data sources via web and hypermedia APIs
  • Proficient in Web Technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js, Next.js and Node.js, and in event-driven and eventual consistency systems using Kafka, .Net, Java, REST APIs, AWS, Terraform and DevOps

  • Serve as the primary Finance technology counterpart to IT and external implementation partners for assigned initiatives.
  • Work in a structured matrix with Global Process Owners and the Finance Transformation Portfolio Management team to align solution scope, priorities, and release plans to the overall Finance transformation roadmap.

  • Provide structured input to vendor performance assessments and support optimization of vendor engagement and ways of working.

Continuous Improvement & Governance

  • Identify and prioritize technology-related continuous improvement opportunities (process simplification, integration enhancements, automation, data quality improvements).
  • Partner with Finance Portfolio Management to quantify, track and report technology-enabled benefits (efficiency, quality, control, user experience) at an initiative and portfolio level.
  • Contribute to Finance technology and data governance, including design standards, change control, release management and data quality rules.

Our client is looking for a Product Manager Integration & Data to own and drive the evolution of their Data and Integration platforms.

Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Partner with Enterprise Architecture to translate Data & Integration strategy into clear roadmaps, prioritised backlogs, and executable delivery plans

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner within data, analytics, or integration domains
