The job:
This role sits within the newly formed GenAI Security team, which is responsible for ensuring, maintaining, and improving the security of our GenAi Prompt security capabilities within the firm. You will be responsible for engineering solutions that strengthen and broaden our security capabilities in an environment that is changing daily whilst also working with vendor products to achieve the same aims. You will have the opportunity to partner with key Engineering teams, alongside Operations and Site Reliability Engineering.

What the role covers:

• Designing, developing, optimizing, and enhancing a GenAI prompt security platform to protect firm AI/LLM-based applications from adversarial attacks and prompt injections.
• Building and automating a security testing framework to validate protection mechanisms for various LLM use cases.
• Owning solutions that are expected to operate and perform at scale across the organisation.
• Collaboration with multiple stakeholders and partners across Engineering and Operations as well as partner teams within the wider Citi organisation, across different time zones.

Job Skills/ Qualifications:

The Team

Man Group has been at the forefront of applying technology and data science to investment management for over three decades. Today, that legacy is driving a firm-wide AI transformation with over 1,500 employees using our AI platform daily, adoption has reached a critical inflection point and momentum continues to build. We’re now hiring an AI specialist to partner with teams across the business, turning that momentum into tangible, measurable outcomes.

This is not a research role. It’s not a pure engineering role. It’s the person who sits at the intersection of business problems and AI capabilities, and makes things happen. You’ll become an expert in how Man Group operates our products, our processes, our systems, our people and use that knowledge to identify where AI creates the most value, then build it, ship it, and help others do the same.

You’ll work across the entire firm: sitting with a Sales team to understand why an RFP takes 5 days, then building a prototype that gets it to 48 hours. Running a workshop with Legal to map their document review process, then designing an AI workflow that halves the time. Helping a Portfolio Manager understand what Claude Code can do for their research process, then pairing with them to build it.

Key Competencies

Essential

• 5–8 years’ experience in roles that combined technical delivery with business problem-solving. Could be: AI/ML engineering with client-facing work, management consulting with a technical edge, product management for AI/data products, or solutions engineering at a technology company.
• Python skills. You don’t need to be a systems engineer, but you must be able to build prototypes, work with APIs, process data and help design features.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs. You’ve built things with Claude, GPT, or equivalent. You understand prompting, RAG, tool use, agents, and the practical limitations. You know when AI is the right tool and when it isn’t.
• Exceptional stakeholder skills. You can sit with a senior portfolio manager, a head of operations, or a sales lead and earn their trust. You listen before you solve. You communicate clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

ROLE PROFILE:

The Senior Enterprise Tools Engineer will be a key member of the Engineering organization, responsible for designing and developing integrations across the Enterprise Tools ecosystem to enable seamless data flow, analytics, and AI-driven solutions across the enterprise. This role blends REST API-based integrations, data engineering fundamentals, and AI automation to streamline information exchange and improve decision intelligence across platforms.

• Crafting, build, and maintain REST API-based integrations across enterprise platforms to support unified data sharing and workflow automation

We are currently recruiting an exciting opportunity for an AI and Automation Specialist to join our IT team.

Role Overview

In this hands-on delivery role, you will lead the build and deployment of automation and agent solutions using Microsoft 365 tooling. You will turn prioritised use cases into secure, reliable releases, while establishing repeatable delivery approaches for the future. You will work closely with Information Security, Cyber and Technology Risk to ensure that delivery aligns to policy and control requirements.

Responsibilities include:

• Configuring and enhancing CoPilot Studio agents and Power Automate workflows within agreed boundaries.
• Shaping technical delivery options for each use case, selecting pragmatic patterns that can be reused and scaled.
• Implementing secure controls, including permissions, access boundaries, and least privilege.
• Producing production ready assets including error handling, logging, support notes, and handover documentation.
• Supporting testing and release activity, including defect resolution and early life support.
• Contributing to benefits capture by defining measurable outcomes for delivered solutions and supporting evidence collection.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 automation and agent tooling, including Power Automate and CoPilot Studio. You will have a deep understanding of identity, access and permissions in M365, and how these affect data exposure.
