Our client, a leading specialist gas power company, with facilities across the country, are looking for a experienced control systems engineer to manage all site maintenance and installation of production machinery, automated Machinery, robotics, control systems.

The main responsibilities of the Control Systems Engineer will include.

  • Ensuring all control, instrumentation, systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably
  • Performing maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of field instrumentation including pressure, temperature, flow, and level devices
  • Installation, commissioning, and full setup of new equipment and control systems
  • Control system programming and configuration (DCS, PLC, and associated safety systems)
  • PLC setup, programming, modification, and troubleshooting
  • Configuration and maintenance of HMI and SCADA systems
  • Electrical fault finding on low, medium, and high-voltage auxiliary systems
  • Electrical wiring, panel termination, and control cabinet modifications
  • Supporting plant outages, shutdowns, and return-to-service activities

  • NVQ level 3 in an Electrical discipline

  • Experience on PLC Systems and Relays.
