Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for

installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial gas systems and appliances in a range of environments.

You will ensure all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with current regulations and standards.

The Commercial Engineer will work closely with our engineering teams to provide technical solutions to our clients.

You will be an COCN1 gas qualified engineer with experience in commercial gas heating and hot water systems.

ROLE OVERVIEW: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principle Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. To provide Electrical Engineering support and leadership to projects through design to completion. This will involve all stages from tendering, design, installation, testing, commissioning and handover. Management of Electrical installations throughout the projects to ensure successful delivery from a HSE, programme, quality, compliance and commercial perspective.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise design and engineering activities across multiple disciplines on projects, overseeing a team of engineers, design managers, lead engineers, specialists and BIM/CAD technicians.
• Proficient in low and high voltage electrical design (up to 33kV level) inline with all current standards. Key considerations should be safety, maintainability, ease of installation, design sustainability and environmental impact.
• Proficient in designing the following typical systems:
  • Lighting
  • CMS - sizing and layout
  • Earthing and bonding

  • Switchboards/LVAC

Were supporting a specialist engineering business that is looking to add a skilled BMS Control Panel Designer to their team.

In this role, youll be responsible for producing high-quality control panel designs for BMS and HVAC applications, working closely with project teams to ensure seamless integration from concept through to installation. Youll create electrical schematics, panel layouts, wiring diagrams, termination schedules, and Bills of Materials using EPLAN or similar electrical design packages.

Youll also play a key role in ensuring all designs meet industry standards and compliance requirements, providing technical support during panel manufacture and installation, and contributing to continuous improvement of internal design standards and templates.

What youll be doing

• Designing BMS and HVAC control panels using EPLAN or equivalent software
• Creating schematics, layouts, wiring diagrams and documentation
• Preparing BOMs and component specifications for manufacture
• Ensuring compliance with IEC, UL, NEC and other relevant standards
• Collaborating with project managers, controls engineers and field teams
• Supporting workshops during panel build and on-site installation
• Participating in design reviews and updating work based on feedback
• Maintaining accurate documentation for ongoing compliance and project records

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or relevant experience
• Proven background in BMS or electrical control panel design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, EPLAN or similar design software
• Strong understanding of electrical and control components (PLCs, relays, contactors, etc.)
• Familiarity with HVAC systems and building automation
• Excellent attention to detail, documentation accuracy and communication skills

My client is seeking a Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a dynamic team in the London area on a permanent position.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks across a variety of mechanical and electrical building systems. This includes diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and general building services to ensure operational efficiency and safety.

The role requires strict adherence to safety procedures and policies, particularly those set by Integral and Amazon. Accurate record-keeping of all maintenance activities using the site’s CAFM system is essential. The engineer will liaise closely with site management and contractors to minimise disruption to operations and will participate in site audits, inspections, and compliance checks.

Additionally, the role supports energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives on site. A key requirement for this position is either an electrical apprenticeship or NVQ level 3 (Electrical discipline , which is mandatory and cannot be omitted.
