To work within our post order Design Engineering team (Infrastructure Projects), working with project delivery teams to produce design deliverables in line with project programs. You will work closely with regional Project Managers to manage and deliver comprehensive Life Safety System designs for complex major projects.
You will have previous design experience and technical understanding of fire and security related systems with a proven ability to professionally document, illustrate and present detailed fire and security system designs with in-depth knowledge of the relevant standards: BS5839, pt1, pt8, pt9, BS6266, BS7671 and BS7273.
Responsibilities
* To become fully competent, through in-house training, in the use of the Company’s computer systems to meet customer requirements and communicate accurate and valid information when conversing with both internal and external customers.
* To represent the Company consistently and positively to customers in line with the Customer Care Requirements.
* To always maintain effective communication with both internal and external customers.
* To ensure all documentation is accurately completed, stored, and provided to appropriate personnel when required.

Key Responsibilities
Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on electrical building services systems.
Inspect, test, and maintain electrical plant including:
Lighting & emergency lighting
Power distribution & 3-phase equipment
Consumer units, switchgear, and control panels
Motors, pumps, and associated electrical assets
Perform electrical fault-finding and repair work efficiently.Complete Minor Works and provide relevant electrical certification.Ensure all work complies with BS 7671 and site health and safety procedures.Maintain accurate documentation, service records, and job sheets.Coordinate with other engineers and site staff to deliver high service standards.Travel to client sites across North London (door-to-door paid).

The successful candidate will be responsible for
installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial gas systems and appliances in a range of environments.
You will ensure all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with current regulations and standards.
The Commercial Engineer will work closely with our engineering teams to provide technical solutions to our clients.
You will be an COCN1 gas qualified engineer with experience in commercial gas heating and hot water systems.

As Senior Embedded Software Engineer you will play a key role in the design and development of embedded control software for advanced industrial power systems, working within a collaborative multidisciplinary engineering team.
You will work closely with Electrical, Mechanical and Systems Engineers to deliver robust, safe and cost-effective solutions used by global customers.
Key Responsibilities
Translate system and customer requirements into software specifications and acceptance criteria
Design embedded software architecture and interfaces for ARM-based controllers (STM32)
Develop embedded firmware in C/C++ within RTOS environments (FreeRTOS or similar)
Implement industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, CAN and Ethernet
Integrate software with sensors, actuators and industrial control hardware
Perform unit testing, static analysis, code reviews and verification activities
Develop SIL/HIL test environments and support validation activities
Produce clear technical documentation including design specifications and test plans
Work within modern development practices including Git, trunk-based development and semantic versioning
Support manufacturing, commissioning and service teams with technical investigations
Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and engineering standards
Skills & Experience Required
Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar
Strong experience developing embedded software in industrial or engineering environments
Strong C/C++ development experience on ARM Cortex microcontrollers (STM32 desirable)
Experience working with RTOS concepts (task scheduling, synchronisation, debugging)
Knowledge of functional safety or secure coding practices (MISRA, IEC61508 or similar)
Experience with unit testing, static analysis and code quality tools
Experience implementing industrial communications (Modbus, CAN, TCP/IP, Serial)
Experience working with hardware-software integration
