At Orion Smart Metering, were proud to work with some of the UKs biggest energy suppliers including two of the Big Five as well as the UKs #1 metering provider. Were now expanding our team and are looking for experienced Dual Fuel Engineers to install meters in domestic properties as part of our growing national contracts.
The Role
As a Dual Fuel Engineer with Orion, youll enjoy a stable, full-time PAYE position with excellent pay, bonuses, and benefits.

Call out 1 week in 4. Standby payments Monday - Sunday. Price per job: £150 per dual, £80 per single, £50 per transactional job.

Clean Driving License. IT conversant a laptop computer or equivalent is used for interfacing with the Companys products and for completing service reports and timesheets.

What Youll Be Doing

Degree or HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
5+ years experience in power transmission and substation design
Strong knowledge of National Grid, British Standards, and UK design rules
Skilled in 2D CAD software (Autodesk preferred)
Able to quickly learn new engineering software
Experience with NGET stage 4.4 design and earthing up to 400kV
Knowledge of related areas: overhead lines, civil design, protection & control, HV cables
Bonus: MSc, chartership, expert in CDEGS, AutoCAD, and power system tools

We have a great opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join our team within Vistry Works East Midlands, at our Bardon factory in Coalville, Leicestershire on a day shift. As our Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring that all machinery is in correct working order and escalating where appropriate any concerns which may affect productivity. You will be taking care of an array of machinery and ensuring that all minor maintenance repairs are carried out, within a manufacturing plant producing modular timber frame panels.
