Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for an intermediate-level professional with a minimum of 3 years of UK consultancy experience in building services. The role focuses on office refurbishments, industrial warehousing design, and government projects such as data centres and facilities in the banking and financial sectors with cyber security requirements.
This is an office-based role located just a 5-minute walk from Cannon Park Station. You will be working in a small, collaborative team of four within the electrical and mechanical design department. Due to the nature of the projects, security clearance is required for certain jobs, and candidates must be UK citizens who have resided in the UK for the last 5 years. Unfortunately, we cannot accept candidates who require sponsorship.

Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (37.5 hours per week, with an unpaid 1-hour lunch break).

Responsibilities
Design and develop electrical systems for building services, including office refurbishments, industrial warehousing, and data centres.
Mark up drawings based on specifications using software such as MODEC, AutoCAD, Revit, and IES VE.
Ensure compliance with 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and other relevant standards.
Collaborate with the mechanical and electrical team to deliver high-quality designs.
Verify and review designs with partners to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Work on government and private sector projects, particularly in the banking and financial sectors with cyber security considerations.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of UK consultancy experience in building services.
Educated to HNC/ONC/BTEC level in Building Services Engineering or equivalent. A degree in Electrical Engineering or Environmental Engineering is preferred.
Proficiency in MODEC, AutoCAD, Revit, or IES VE.
Strong understanding of 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
Experience in designing electrical systems for data centres, industrial units, and warehousing.
Must be a UK citizen and have resided in the UK for the last 5 years (due to security clearance requirements).

Due to continued growth we are looking to recruit an experienced Electrical & Test Engineer to join their team.
The role is primarily focused on electrical and functional testing, fault diagnosis, and regulatory compliance with assembly and production support activities undertaken where required.
Key duties include;
To carry out the electrical assembly of parts, sub- assemblies and products in line with the requirements of engineering drawings.
To prepare products for testing, including powering up products and carrying out pre- test safety checks.
Undertake electrical panel wiring and control system assembly in accordance with engineering drawings and wiring schedules
Carry out mechanical assembly, sub-assemblies and complete units where required
Support production builds to ensure products are completed on time, to specification, and to quality standards
To follow Company Quality Control procedures i.e. ISO(Apply online only)
To test products in line with Company procedures
To maintain production in line with the production plan and instructions from the departmental supervisor/planner to ensure that other production departments are supplied with products and parts to maintain their own plan.
To carry out, where appropriate, repairs and maintenance to plant and equipment
Occasional site work
To be considered for this position the successful candidate must have;
Hours of work are 37 per week, Monday to Friday or there is an option to work a 9 day fortnight giving you every other Friday off.
