Main responsibilities:

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on production and site equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults quickly and effectively.
• Respond to breakdowns and support production teams to minimise downtime.
• Support installation, commissioning, and improvement of new and existing machinery.
• Ensure all work is carried out in line with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and update internal systems.
• Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to improve reliability and performance.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement solutions where possible.

Requirements

• Experience working as a Multi-Skilled Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, or similar role in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Relevant engineering qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, HNC/HND, or equivalent in Engineering or Electrical/Mechanical discipline).
• Knowledge of PLC-controlled equipment and automated production lines is desirable.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
• Good understanding of health and safety in an industrial environment.
