Project Overview:
The client is working on a strategic Identity and Access Management programme and is re-shaping the way Authentication, Federation, Privileged Access Management, Access Governance, Secrets Management and API Security is done across the bank. One of the pillars of that programme is Privileged Access Management (PAM). The client is working on uplifting controls and capabilities in privileged access for the Group and introducing the strategic password vaulting solution that will enable to meet strategic requirements.
We are seeking an experienced Lead Security Solution Architect that can complement an existing team of Solution Architects to progress with designs of different components of the PAM solution and other supporting systems it will need to integrate with as part of the end-to-end journey.
Principal Preferred Requirements:
Cybersecurity Expertise:
Significant experience and proven technical depth within one of the following domains of cybersecurity; security operations & incident response, threat & vulnerability management, identity & access management, cryptography, infrastructure, network, application, data, cloud.
Broad background across information technology with the ability to communicate clearly with non-security technical SMEs at a comfortable level.
Experience in both operational and transformation cybersecurity roles or a clear working understanding of both perspectives.
Experience working in large-scale IT transformation programmes.
Experience working with PAM solutions such as CyberArk, Centrify, Delinea and OneIdentity.
Preparing end-to-end configuration of the strategic PAM capability - including on-prem deployments as well as Cloud native toolings.

Collaborate with clients to analyse business requirements, processes, and systems to design effective Business Central solutions
Lead in architecting solutions that align with client needs, ensuring the solution is scalable, cost-effective, and efficient
Manage full-cycle Business Central implementations from requirements gathering to go-live, including: data migration, system configuration, documenting customisation requests, testing, and user training
Develop and deliver training programs to ensure clients are well-equipped to use the Business Central system effectively
Act as an escalation point within the team, supporting with complex issues and mentoring

Spinks are are working with a well established Government Organisation who are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to assist during an important phase of change.
As an expert Solutions Architect, you will have the following:
Technology Expertise: You will have a solid understanding of a broad range of industry-standard technologies, both proprietary and open source, across a diverse range of Microsoft and Linux-based deployments, across physical, virtual, and containerised compute.
Software & Infrastructure Expertise: You will have a good understanding of both software and infrastructure design considerations and be comfortable working with engineers to understand and guide the datacentre environment that applications are deployed into.
Architecture Leadership: You will have deep experience in working in an architecture function and leading the development of the vision, principles, and strategy for architects for a set of products, projects, and technologies. You will be practised in creating technical standards, blueprints, reference architectures, roadmaps, transition states and target solutions across multiple services.
Cloud Expertise: Experience designing and implementing cloud solutions across major providers (e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP, Oracle) Expertise in navigating platform-specific features and optimising and automating (IaC) deployments for maximum security, performance, and cost-effectiveness. Strong understanding of cloud governance models and compliance frameworks relevant to government environments.
Stakeholder Management: You will have proven ability to lead and influence stakeholders across multiple disciplines, crafting and advocating for long-term technical vision aligned with business strategy. This will include experience of interacting with, and influencing, senior stakeholders and a wide range of people across large teams, departments, suppliers, and customers.
Communicating & Influencing: You will have exceptional communication skills, adept at translating complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences. Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with vendors.
