We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic ServiceNow Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role demands deep technical expertise in ServiceNow, particularly around CMDB architecture, and the ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders and external service providers. You will play a critical role in shaping the future of our bespoke ServiceNow implementation, ensuring it aligns with business needs and delivers measurable value.

Your responsibilities as a ServiceNow Specialist:

Serve as the technical authority on ServiceNow, with hands-on experience across modules, integrations, and platform capabilities.

Own and optimize the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), ensuring data integrity, relevance, and alignment with ITIL practices.

Collaborate with senior executives, business leaders, and technical teams to translate strategic goals into platform solutions.

Deliver clear, actionable reports and insights both upwards to leadership and downwards to operational teams.

Act as the primary interface with service providers, ensuring SLAs are met and partnerships are productive.

Provide recommendations to evolve and enhance the bespoke ServiceNow product, balancing innovation with operational efficiency.

Evaluate existing tools and functions, identifying redundancies, gaps, and opportunities for streamlining.

As a suitable ServiceNow Specialist, you will have:

Proven track record of deep technical work with ServiceNow

Strong experience designing, implementing, and managing CMDB structures

Key responsibilities include:

Working on a discovery phase to develop a product strategy for Messaging and Notifications for the Bank. The aim of this phase is to produce a strategy for the Bank’s capabilities regarding customer communications for digital journeys (e-mail, SMS, device notifications).

Establish a distributed customer messaging and notification architecture to address current fragmentation and enhance customer experiences across our journey touchpoints.

A strategic solution should create an event-driven ecosystem for coordinating communications across channels, designed to support multiple business domains including retail banking, wealth management, business, corporate and investment banking.

Key components to be considered are:

* interconnected notification services that integrate with existing banking channels
