  • Provide concise feedback to customer quality, engineering and design teams on road-blocks and facilitate feedback.
  • Maintain FAI tracker for review status, outcome and any issues identified.

Role Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years, in the last 5 years, aerospace experience in either a quality engineering or manufacturing engineering capacity
  • Strong and robust working knowledge of AS9102 at the current revision, in addition to a sound understanding of the requirements of AS9100.
  • Strong understanding of Delta FAI requirements.
  • The ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, supported by strong aerospace fabrications background

My Client is a leading manufacturing site looking for Electrical maintenance engineer with FMCG experience to join on both an ongoing basis.

Duties as a Electrical maintenance engineer:

Reacting to breakdowns both electrically and mechanically, fault finding, analysing and continuously improving the site.
Work closely with other departments to improve the site.
Attend meetings as required, analyse data and find solutions to improve equipment performance whilst ensuring safe working practice and full communications are maintained at all times.
In addition, you will be involved in projects within the business to develop an effective engineering install and commissioning.
PLC fault finding

Requirements as a Electrical maintenance engineer:
A formal qualification in an electrical or mechanical engineering subject (apprentice served, NVQ, HNC or equivalent)
Strong electrical experience preferable within a FMCG environment.
Knowledge / experience of working with controls, analysing faults and providing solutions.
Experience of both reactive and preventative maintenance
Good technical ability relating to automation hardware and software.
Strong organisation and communication skills and the ability to work in a multi-disciplined team of varying levels of technical experience.

The Role
You will be responsible for the installation and support of automated conveyor and electrical systems on site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cable pulling, tray work, containment, and terminations
  • Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
  • Supporting commissioning and testing where required

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Industrial Electrician or Electrical Engineer
  • Background in automation, conveyor systems, or process lines
  • Experience in environments such as logistics, distribution, or heavy industrial sites
  • Valid CSCS or ECS Gold Card (Approved Electrician)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full right to work in the UK

Contract Details
