Main Responsibilities •Managing and co-ordinating the activities of the site engineers to ensure all setting-out and quality control procedures are performed in a timely and efficient manner, so as not to impede the construction programme. •Develop 4-weekly programmes with site engineer and simple benchmark productivity measures for the workforce and assess actual programme and productivity achieved for review at weekly progress meetings to include resource requirements. •Complete inspection and test plans, risk assessments and method statements for the control of the works ensuring that all necessary documentation, as required by these statements and plans, is produced in a timely manner. •Communicate with works managers, foremen, gangers, workforce and sub-contractors to ensure full understanding of information provided. •Communicate to the QA and QS teams non-conformances, and any instructions received from the client / designer / RE's staff. Ensure that comprehensive records of resources employed on additional works are maintained. •Procurement of Plant, Materials and Equipment through Requisitions. •Keep a full and accurate daily site diary, including any changes / variations, subcontractors' attendance, and records of work related discussions with client / designer / RE / project team. •Adherence to project policies and procedures. The Ideal Candidate Essential: •Degree level qualification (or equivalent) in a Civil Engineering allied subject or HNC in Civil Engineering and vocational training in Engineering •Understanding of Engineering Principles •Technical knowledge of construction techniques and best practices. •Computer competence (MS Word, Excel, Document control system). •Relevant CSCS Card •Training in Health & Safety and Environmental management •Presentation Skills Training (as they deliver inductions / briefings etc). Desirable: •Computer competence (Auto CAD, Aphex).

About the Role

As AMVIA’s Sales and Operations Manager, you’ll sit at the crossroads of commercial performance and operational delivery. You’ll work closely with our Co-Directors to execute our sales growth plans, lead our Account and New Business teams, and ensure that every deal successfully transitions into efficient, profitable delivery.

Your impact will be felt across the business - improving processes, boosting client satisfaction, and shaping how AMVIA scales its Cyber Security and MSP services for the future.

What You’ll Be Doing

Drive Sales Growth:

  • Take ownership of AMVIA’s commercial targets, with a focus on Cyber Security and MSP service growth.
  • Lead and motivate the Sales and Account management teams to exceed revenue goals.
  • Ensure pipeline visibility and forecasting accuracy through structured reviews and reporting.
  • Work with marketing and leadership to execute go-to-market strategies that convert leads into long-term customers.
  • Identify new opportunities for cross-selling, upselling, and margin improvement.
  • Actively support negotiation and deal structuring to ensure profitable outcomes.

Deliver Operational Excellence:

  • Own the full order lifecycle - from sales handover to delivery and invoicing.
  • Monitor and manage WIP performance to keep deals moving and revenue flowing.
  • Coordinate between sales, project delivery, and support to maintain service standards and operational flow.
  • Continuously improve processes to remove friction, improve accuracy, and fast-track delivery timelines.
  • Track KPIs and implement dashboards that show real-time performance across all departments.

Lead and Inspire:

  • Work directly with AMVIA’s Co-Directors to deliver strategic growth goals.
  • Build a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement in the Sheffield office.
  • Coach and develop staff to push performance and confidence across commercial and operational teams.
  • Represent AMVIA with clients and partners showcasing our commitment to quality, security, and innovation.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years’ experience in a sales, service delivery, or operational management role within an MSP or IT services business.
  • Proven record of driving revenue growth and improving delivery performance.
  • Deep understanding of MSP operational processes (from quote to cash).
  • Confident leadership style with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Commercially sharp and data-driven, comfortable managing forecasts, margins, and pipelines.
  • Experience within Cyber Security services or managed protection solutions is preferred.
