About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Local Business Development Manager (LBDM) to join a prestigious brand in my client’s corporate team and fleet hub. This is an exciting opportunity to build our corporate and fleet business from the ground up. With significant demand coming in, this role has been created to take my client’s operations to the next level.
You will be given all the tools and support required, but success in this role will come down to your initiative, drive, and ability to create opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and grow new business relationships with SMEs, corporates, and leasing companies.
Manage and expand existing partnerships to maximise fleet sales opportunities.
Create tailored proposals to suit business client needs, ensuring exceptional customer service throughout.
Work closely with the corporate and fleet teams to ensure a smooth handover process for clients.
Analyse the local marketplace, identify new opportunities, and implement strategies to increase market share.
Report regularly on progress, pipeline, and performance against agreed targets.

Qualifications and skills required for the Data Engineer position:
Ideally degree educated in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field
Experience as a Data Engineer, ideally within a customer service or contact centre environment
Knowledge of SQL, Python, and data pipeline development
Skilled in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud data tools
Background in CRM systems and customer data structures
Understanding of data warehousing concepts and cloud architecture
Experience with ETL tools and frameworks Airflow, Git, CI/CD pipeline
Data Insights reporting experience
Competent with real-time data processing and streaming technologies
Proficiency in Tableau or other data visualisation tools is desirable

Role Overview:
Leidos are seeking a IBM OMS Consultant to join the Team in Bristol.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Order Management (75%):
Be a development expert in the IBM Sterling OMS software lifecycle: including estimation, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment, and support
Develop microservices to support modular, scalable, and maintainable order management and customer service workflows
Participate as a team member with business analysts, SMEs, consultants, and vendors to deliver business requirements, process flows, functional specifications, and system design documentation
Coordinate feature requests and change management with development partners, ensuring high-quality deliverables
Build and deploy code across all managed environments
Create and maintain technical design documents for Sterling OMS and microservices
Identify opportunities to improve order management and customer service through better system usage, new enhancements, and improved business processes
Coordinate product cases and support tickets with the IBM CoC team
Participate in system, integration, and user acceptance testing for new and modified systems
Production Support and Maintenance (25%):
Deliver high-quality production support and maintenance
Lead or participate in outage calls and root cause analysis for production issues
Our ideal candidate should have demonstrated proficiency in the following:
OMS development and integration, Java Development
Demonstrated experience in implementing solutions within IBM Sterling OMS
Demonstrated a good working knowledge in Oracle database query development
Strong Java EE experience
Demonstrated proficiency in full disciplined SDLC lifecycle frameworks and methodologies
Experience of working in Agile/Scrum working environment
Practical and pragmatic approach – willing to get ‘hands on’ to deliver what is needed
Exceptional communication skills, fluent in English
It would also be good for the candidate to have the following:
Exposure to IBM DataPower servers, clustering, and resource configuration
Proficiency in using test tools and automated unit test tool frameworks to support development
Proficiency to ETL Tools (preferably IBM DataStage, Oracle SQL Loader)
Experience of AWS would be beneficial
Exposure to WebSphere MQ,IB, and ESB servers, clustering, resource configuration
Exposure to Sterling suite – OMS/Control Centre.
Knowledge of Web Services (SOAP, RESTful API, etc.), CSV, JSON, JMS, SQL

The Opportunity:
My client working within the alarm systems sector are currently looking for a Structured Data Cabling Engineer on a permanent basis. In this role you will work within the core delivery team and be required to work on internal and external copper and fibre cabling installations both doing install, terminate and test cabling to the highest standards; as well as deploying containment systems such as conduit, trunking, tray and basket. You will work in varied environments, including offices, manufacturing plants, construction sites and data centres and this will occasionally require travel and stay overnight as required by projects.
