TECH-AGNOSTIC ROLE

Summary

Carl Friedrik is a luxury travel and leather goods brand on a mission to become the travel lifestyle brand of choice for discerning globetrotters.

London-born and founded in 2013, we empower modern travellers with timeless luggage, bags and accessories that perform year in, year out. We’re hiring a Creative Director to lead our brand direction and creative output across every channel our customers touch.

Role description

The Creative Director leads Carl Friedrik’s brand direction and is responsible for everything that shapes how our audience perceives us; art direction, design, voice and positioning. You will lead and grow our creative team, manage product and campaign launches end-to-end, and ensure every asset we ship reflects the craft and considered design that defines the brand.

This role sits at the intersection of brand, marketing and growth. You’ll report jointly to our co-founder and Head of Marketing, and work closely with teams across the business: marketing, retail, wholesale, product and partnerships.

Who you are

You are a senior creative leader with the rare combination of strong aesthetic sensibility and sharp commercial thinking. You understand that great creative is purposeful: every campaign and every asset is made to drive brand perception and business growth. You hold a high bar for craft, in imagery, copy and design, and know how to instill it across a team.

You are an excellent operator. You prioritise ruthlessly, delegate effectively, communicate clearly, and deliver on deadlines. You’re cost-conscious by default, thinking about budgets and trade-offs from the start of a project rather than as an afterthought. You thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Your responsibilities Lead brand direction

  • Own Carl Friedrik’s art direction, voice and creative positioning across every touchpoint;
  • Oversee and instill the brand message consistently across the company.

Lead creative output

  • Direct the production of digital assets: imagery, ads, emails, socials, landing pages, product pages and web design;
  • Manage creative for product launches and campaigns end-to-end, from ideation through to delivery;
  • Develop creative for Carl Friedrik’s retail stores (London and New York City), wholesale presentations and corporate partnerships.

Lead the team

  • Manage 3 direct reports initially (Art Director and Designers), with scope to grow;
  • Prioritise workload, delegate effectively and ensure deadlines are consistently met;
  • Develop and maintain a network of freelance photographers, film-makers, designers and agencies.

Drive brand and business impact

  • Think commercially: every project should have a clear purpose and drive measurable impact;
  • Manage creative budgets with rigour, presenting alternatives at different price points where appropriate;
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in senior creative roles (Creative Director, Art Director, or equivalent);
  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing creative teams;
  • Outstanding portfolio across campaign creative, digital design, imagery direction and print - ideally within fashion, lifestyle or premium consumer brands;
  • Strong sensibility for imagery and a strong sense for copy and advertising language;
  • Commercial, growth-oriented thinking, with experience working closely with marketing and/or performance teams;
  • Proven ability to run multiple projects simultaneously and deliver to deadline;
  • Experience managing creative budgets and working with external agencies and freelancers;
  • Expert knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite and Figma;
  • Based in London, working in the office 2-3 days per week.

More about Carl Friedrik

Carl Friedrik was founded in 2013 by brothers who set out to reimagine what a modern travel brand could look like - beautifully crafted, intelligently designed, and built to outlast the next trend. More than a decade on, we’re a fast-growing, award-winning global business headquartered in London with offices in Barcelona and Los Angeles. Still founder-led and still guided by the same obsession with craft and considered design.

Once online-only, we’re expanding quickly across channels. We’ve opened a flagship store on Regent Street in London, another in Covent Garden, and a new store is opening in New York City. We’ve cultivated wholesale partnerships with the world’s leading retailers, including Harrods, Selfridges, Bloomingdale’s, Luisaviaroma, Nordstrom and NK.

New York Times: “Best refined briefcase for daily use: Carl Friedrik”

Forbes: “The new king in the leather goods space”

Featured in HBO’s Emmy award-winning dramas Succession and The White Lotus

Benefits

  • Competitive salary;
  • Share options;
  • Offices in London, Barcelona and Los Angeles;

You are a seasoned UX Designer who has worked across multiple sectors or digital projects (experience with GDS is a bonus). You can lead UX on projects independently and strategically, while keeping a close attention to detail. As a Disability Confident employer, we will;

  • Provide reasonable adjustments in the recruitment process where requested (contact a member of the recruitment team on to discuss individual requirements further).

Product Manager - Customer Portal Experience
Azets Insight Oy
London
Hybrid
Senior
Private salary
RECENTLY POSTED
TECH-AGNOSTIC ROLE

Jobbtitel

Azets is an international business advisory group, with 9,000 local experts in 200+ locations across eight countries, backed by progressive technology. We are united by one clear purpose: to improve the lives of our clients, colleagues and communities, in a sustainable way.

Why This Role Exists

Azets serves 100,000+ clients across the Nordics, UK, and Ireland through accounting, payroll, tax, and advisory services. Our customer platform is the digital front door to all of it: the place where SME owners check their numbers, HR managers register new employees, line managers approve time off, and employees view their payslips.

Right now, that experience doesn’t match the quality of what our teams deliver. Information is spread across systems. Workflows feel disjointed. The mobile experience is underdeveloped. We’re hiring a Product Manager to fix this: to create a single, unified portal that brings together data and actions across every service line into something that feels fast, coherent, and genuinely useful.

This is a high visibility, high complexity role. You’ll be aggregating information from multiple backend systems, serving a broad user base with very different needs, and coordinating across several product teams who all have a stake in what the portal shows. If you’re energized by making complex things feel simple, this is the job.

What You’ll Own

  • Product strategy and roadmap for the customer portal: the landing experience, cross service navigation, unified dashboards, KPI views, and key action workflows.
  • The mobile experience: giving clients meaningful, well designed access to their data and tasks on the go.
  • A measurable improvement in task success rate, time to complete, activation, and customer satisfaction across core portal workflows.
  • A working model where discovery is continuous: research, prototypes, build, measure, iterate.

What You’ll Do

Define the north star portal experience: what customers see first, what they can do fast, and how we guide them to what matters.

Drive cross system unification: align stakeholders and teams to create one coherent experience despite multiple backends.

Partner closely with your dedicated designer and engineering team to ship high quality experiences with strong attention to performance, accessibility, and mobile first patterns.

Establish clear UX and product metrics, instrument events, and use both qualitative and quantitative data to prioritise improvements.

Manage trade offs across service lines; make decisions fast and make them visible.

Engage directly with clients: from SME owners to payroll administrators to regular employees to validate problems and test solutions.

What Great Looks Like in 6-12 Months

Customers can complete the top portal tasks significantly faster, with fewer support tickets and less confusion.

A new or substantially improved portal entry experience with clear information architecture, relevant KPIs, and “next best action” guidance that customers actually use.

A repeatable cadence of discovery and iteration, with clear metrics showing the impact of each release.

Other product teams actively want to surface their features through your portal because it works and it drives adoption.

What You Bring

Required:

  • 5+ years in product management, with meaningful experience on customer facing portals, dashboards, or multi product digital experiences.
  • A genuine obsession with usability and interaction design: you notice when something takes three clicks instead of one, and it bothers you enough to fix it.
  • Experience shipping both web and mobile products to a high standard.
  • The ability to work across teams and influence without authority. This role is inherently cross functional; your success depends on getting alignment from teams you don’t manage.
  • Comfort with complexity: you’ll synthesise data and workflows from multiple systems into unified experiences for users with very different needs.
  • Fluent English. You’ll work across Stockholm, London, and Nordic offices.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with B2B SaaS platforms, particularly in professional services, fintech, or accounting/payroll.
  • Strong instinct for information architecture and data visualisation.
  • Familiarity with design systems and maintaining consistency across a multi product platform.
  • Nordic language skills (Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, or Finnish).

The Team and Setup

You’ll report to the Head of Product and work with a dedicated engineering squad and designer. Azets Software is a 40 person team building the platform that serves 170,000+ users across 7 countries. We operate with significant autonomy and a flat structure.

This role is hybrid, with at least one day per week in the office. We have offices across the UK (London preferred) and in Stockholm. Expect quarterly travel to Stockholm and Lithuania to work with the broader team.

You must have the right to work in the UK or Sweden. We are unable to offer visa sponsorship or relocation for this role.

What We Offer

  • Real ownership of the product experience that every Azets client touches.
  • A strong, collaborative team that takes craft seriously.
  • Competitive compensation and country appropriate benefits (pension, insurance, generous holiday).
  • Flexible, trust based working within a hybrid model.

ROLE SUMMARY:

FTSE Russell is evolving its operational ecosystem, transitioning from a complex current operating model built on multiple business-as-usual (BAU) systems toward a more unified, scalable target-state platform experience (Phoenix). We are seeking a UX Designer who can bring clarity, coherence, and consistency across this landscape-designing experiences that meet today’s needs while shaping the future!

This role focuses on internal users performing specialised, multi-step workflows. Your focus will be creating seamless, efficient, end-to-end experiences across BAU tools and emerging future-state capabilities - ensuring we avoid siloed, single-screen designs in favour of system-wide usability.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

Lead the User Experience Across the Ecosystem

  • Develop end-to-end workflows that span BAU systems and emerging Phoenix capabilities. Ensure every new design supports the broader operational journey - not just a localised UI improvement.
  • Maintain a clear experience vision that guides teams as tools evolve and converge.

Shape the Future Experience While Supporting the Present

  • Balance the needs of today’s operating model with long-term platform objectives.
  • Guide teams through ambiguity toward clear, actionable outcomes as processes, systems, and capabilities advance.
  • Identify where UX can reduce complexity and support operational efficiency.

Create System-Level, Scalable Design Solutions

  • Develop coherent interaction patterns, behaviours, and navigation structures that work across diverse tools.
  • Promote reusable, consistent design across teams and products - avoiding the trap of one screen per problem.
  • Contribute to and evolve a design system used across internal operational tools.

Collaborate Across Functions

  • Partner with product managers, engineers, and operations teams.
  • Provide clear, evidence-based design recommendations that align technical feasibility with user value.
  • Facilitate design walkthroughs, critiques, and decision-making sessions.

Communicate Insights and Direction Effectively

  • Use storytelling, diagrams, prototypes, and structured artefacts to align team members.
  • Translate user needs, constraints, and behavioural insights into actionable design requirements.
  • Advocate for UX principles and scalable design thinking across the organisation.

Leverage Modern Tooling and AI to Accelerate Delivery

  • Use Figma to build high-quality prototypes, workflows, and design-system assets.
  • Apply AI to accelerate design and product development - automating routine tasks like layout adjustments and component generation, and generating rapid concept variations to speed up discovery and iteration.
  • Enable natural-language input to draft initial UI concepts, helping product teams visualise ideas sooner and reducing dependency on manual wireframing.
  • Strengthen quality and consistency through AI-supported checks for accessibility issues, spacing inconsistencies, and deviations from design-system standards.
  • Establish practices that enable faster design-to-development handoff - including AI-generated design documentation and patterns to reduce ambiguity and improve build accuracy.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

You don’t need to tick every box, but you’ll thrive if your background includes designing complex internal or enterprise tools where workflows span multiple systems. You may have created or contributed to design systems, delivered UX that bridges current-state and next-generation platforms, or worked in operationally critical, data-heavy environments. You’ve likely partnered with cross-functional teams, simplified multi-step workflows while respecting business rules, and communicated clearly with both technical and non-technical team members. Figma is your primary design tool, and you’ve experimented with AI tools to accelerate the design and delivery lifecycle.

Core UX & Design Skills

  • Interaction design, UI design, and workflow orchestration across multi-system environments.
  • Information architecture for interconnected tools and data-heavy interfaces.
  • Ability to synthesise complexity into clarity.
  • Strong visual, structural, and communication design skills.
  • Proficiency in Figma (components, variants, auto-layout, prototyping, design systems).
  • Experience applying AI tools to accelerate design work - including rapid concept generation, layout exploration, and content population.
  • Ability to use AI to support quality and consistency - such as accessibility checks, spacing validation, and design-system compliance.
  • Understanding of how AI can reduce handoff friction - from generating design documentation to enabling natural-language UI drafting for faster collaborator alignment.
  • Understanding of how design systems align with engineering implementation.

Behaviours

You’re a systems thinker who sees the whole user experience, not just the screen in front of you. You’re energised by dynamic environments where tools and processes are actively evolving. You’re collaborative, curious, pragmatic, and focused on outcomes - advocating for users while balancing business and technical constraints.

Why Join Us

  • Shape the UX vision for a major platform transformation (Phoenix) at a globally recognised financial data and analytics company.
  • Work alongside engaged product, engineering, and operations teams who value design.
