Role Overview \* System engineering the infotainment system \* Develop reliable software scripts in Python \* Responsible for end-to-end verification and validation of diagnostic systems, service tool workflows, and post-production vehicle functionalities. \* Ensure the quality, robustness, and accuracy of service-related software, diagnostic routines, and repair procedures used across dealer networks. \* Collaborate with engineering, service operations, and diagnostic tool teams to ensure readiness of aftersales systems for market deployment. Key Responsibilities \* Develop comprehensive V&V plans for aftersales diagnostics, service tool applications, dealer workflows, and guided repair procedures. \* Execute manual and automated test cases on bench, HIL, and vehicle environments for aftersales-related features. \* Validate ECU flashing workflows, DTC generation, service mode behaviors, fault trees, and guided troubleshooting flows. \* Perform diagnostics validation including UDS services, communication integrity (CAN/LIN/Ethernet), and error handling. \* Reproduce field issues reported by dealers; capture logs, analyze root causes, and validate fixes. \* Work closely with service engineering to validate repair instructions, service bulletins, and technical documentation. \* Generate detailed test reports, evidence packs, traceability matrices, and contribute to readiness assessments. \* Support market readiness reviews, dealer pilot programs, and software release sign-off processes. Required Skills & Qualifications \* 5+ years of V&V experience in automotive diagnostics, aftersales systems, or ECU testing. \* Hands-on experience with diagnostic protocols (UDS, OBD-II), DTC validation, flashing tools, and service workflows. \* Experience using CAN tools (CANoe, CANalyzer), log analysis, and ECU communication debugging. \* Strong understanding of vehicle electrical architecture and aftersales service processes. \* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or related field. Preferred Skills \* Experience with OEM diagnostic platforms (e.g., ODIS, Techline, GDS, Pathfinder, ISTA). \* Knowledge of aftersales data systems, repair manuals, and technical publication workflows. \* Exposure to scripting (Python, CAPL) for automation of diagnostic test flows. \* Familiarity with ISO 14229, ISO 15765, and service documentation standards.
