Our client is a Refinery which is located on the east coast of England in North Lincolnshire, United Kingdom. The Humber facility include crude distilling, naphtha reforming, fluid catalytic cracking, hydrodesulfurization, thermal cracking and delayed coking units. The refinery has two coking units with associated calcining plants. This is the only coking refinery in the United Kingdom, and a producer of high-quality specialty graphite and anode-grade petroleum cokes. About the role

As a Public Cloud Second Line Engineer, you ll provide advanced, customer facing technical support across Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 within a managed services environment. Day to day you’ll support the process by providing timely repairs to breakdowns and carrying out planned maintenance activities including instrumentation calibrations. You’ll ensure that all work is managed and recorded correctly to maintain compliance, inspiring safe ways of working across the site, setting a high standard of EC&I engineering activity, and supporting in rolling out new processes, systems, and ways of working to your colleagues on site.

You’ll be joining a tight knit, dedicated team based on site, who are also part of a larger group with a wide support network.

Who we’re looking for:

You’ll need to have experience in solving problems and being a strong communicator to be able to persuade and influence others.
You should be educated to at least ONC level in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering and should have served a recognised Apprenticeship.

Specifically, you’ll need plant experience in the maintenance, repair and installation of electrical equipment, including but not restricted to, 3 phase motors and associated switchgear, variable speed drives, soft starts, circuit breakers, motor control centres and 3 phase and single-phase distribution systems.
