Are you an electrically biased commercial catering engineer looking for a new role working locally in the Bristol area?
This Facilities services company have recently secured a new contract covering commercial buildings, including schools, libraries, and offices across the Bristol area
Due to this they are recruiting an electrically biased engineer to cover planned and reactive service and maintenance to their sites.
As well as commercial catering equipment you will also be involved with some electrical ppms such as emergency lighting, fire alarm testing and basic repairs such as LED / bulb and socket replacements
Main duties
Service, maintain, and repair of catering equipment such as cooker, hobs, ventilation, microwaves, and kettles
Conduct routine inspection, preventative care and troubleshooting of issues
Providing technical support to customers
The ideal Commercial Engineer will have previous experience with catering equipment/catering engineer, as well as a qualification in electrical. You will also hold a valid driving licence.

At ourFiltonsite in Bristol, we specialise in the design and manufacture of large complex structural wing assemblies, detailed metallic componentsand wing systems for a combination of both civil and military aircraft.
Our newMulti-skilled Maintenance Engineerwill join a friendly team who work effectively and efficiently on Process plant and machine tool breakdown and repairs, and knowledge and experience working on electrical and electronics systems.
You will handle the planned scheduled maintenance and all associated tasks on both conventional and CNC machine tools and plant.
This is a full-time, permanent position working 07:00am - 17:30pm on the following shift pattern (which includes 25% shift premium:
Week 1:Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Week 2:Wednesday, Thursday
Week 3:Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
How You’ll Contribute
In this role, you will:
Maintain and diagnose faults on:
Machine Tools/Plant: Production process plant & machinery
Hydraulic and pneumatic systems including counter balance circuits, hydraulic clamping, hydraulic motors, rams, cylinders
Machine alignments: Checking and correction of machine alignments
Correction by changing parameters in CNC control, testing with machine cuts/machine cycles
Plant: Chemical treatment and paint facilities, coolant systems, presses, ovens, pipe benders etc
Electrical appreciation: Knowledge of process plant & machine tools as well as PLC programming & diagnostics
In addition to:
General Fabrication and machining
Cleaning, driving, rigging, slinging & assisting with out of trade activity
Work with sub contractors when required
Demonstrate improvements to plant reliability and availability
Inputting of job records using electronic data collection (CONCEPT)

NEOS Engineering Recruitment are working with a well-established and highly respected civil engineering and earthworks contractor, who are looking to appoint an experienced Lead Heavy Plant Engineer to support their operations across the South West.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior engineer who enjoys responsibility, variety and working on a wide range of machinery while supporting a busy fleet that is critical to major infrastructure and earthworks projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing and repairing a fleet of heavy plant equipment including ADT’s, dumpers, excavators and other large earthmoving machinery. You will play a key role within the engineering function, ensuring machines are maintained to a high standard, faults are diagnosed efficiently and downtime across the fleet is kept to an absolute minimum.
The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills, previous experience working on heavy plant equipment and be confident working independently while supporting the wider engineering team. Experience working on equipment such as Volvo, CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi or similar OEM machinery would be highly beneficial.
