Architect and design scalable MDM solutions for Product data (Primary domain) and Customer, Supplier, Location, Employee etc.(Secondary Domains) ensuring alignment with business needs and data governance standards.
Lead the data modelling efforts for Product entities including Item, Variant, Product Hierarchy, Pricing, Attributes, and Relationships.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to define data standards, taxonomies, and hierarchies for product data.
Integrate PIM systems with MDM platforms and downstream applications (eg, ERP, CRM, data platform).
Define and implement data quality rules, match & merge logic, and survivorship strategies.
Drive SCD (Slowly Changing Dimensions) strategies where applicable, especially for product life cycle management.
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure data stewardship, workflow orchestration, and data governance are Embedded in MDM processes.
Lead initiatives to improve data quality, including profiling, cleansing, monitoring, and remediation strategies.
Provide architectural guidance on MDM platform selection, cloud vs. on-prem deployment, and integration patterns (API, ETL, messaging).
Support metadata management, lineage tracking, and compliance initiatives.
Hands-on experience with more than one MDM technology/platform (eg, Riversand, Informatica MDM, Semarchy, TIBCO EBX, Reltio).
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience in multi-domain MDM (Customer, Supplier, Location, etc.) is a strong plus.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and data Lakehouse architectures.
