I’m working with a well funded early stage AI platform looking for a versatile full-stack engineer to join the London platform team as one of the first engineers.

This role is perfect for someone who loves shipping product, moving fast, and solving novel technical problems that sit at the intersection of data, systems and user experience.

What you’ll own

Deliver a fast, reliable user-facing platform that real customers use every day

Iterate quickly on product features and infrastructure for novel technical problems

Own slices of the stack end to end, from SQL and backend logic to front end UX

Work closely with a tiny, high-calibre engineering team and shape engineering practices and culture

Tech profile I need

3 to 8 years of hands-on full-stack experience building production products

Strong backend experience in Python and SQL, or strong frontend experience in TypeScript + React (we value either path; full-stack candidates ideal)

Comfortable reading and improving C, Rust, or low-level systems components is a plus

Product minded: you care about UX, reliability and shipping valuable features quickly

Excellent communicator. Able to explain trade offs and technical decisions clearly

Senior Frontend developer - AI Startup (London, Hybrid)

Location: London (Hybrid - 2x per week in office)

Tiro Partners is representing an exciting AI scale Up who have ambitious plans to bring Generative AI into the Mechanical Engineering Design process to radically reduce the time to takes to build large scale engineering projects.

The Frontend Engineer will be influential in supporting the Design team as they look to grow from 0 to 1 and beyond.

The Frontend Environment is ELM and WebGL and the back end is predominantly Python with some Rust. They are running on AWS. This is nectar for Engineers who have both a passion for Front End Development and an interest to learn Functional Programming.

The skill set for this role could include React, Typescript, Python, Functional programming language of any kind and a major statically typed language. Any WebGL, OpenGL OR Vulcan is beneficial as is Tailwind CSS and ELM.

My client is not necessarily looking for someone who ticks every box, more over someone with a very sharp mind, who is pragmatic and passionate about both core Engineering & an appreciation for beautiful UX Design. Requirements

Strong hands-on expertise with React, Typescript, Javascript

Startup experience is a plus.
