Harvey Nash’s Public Sector Client have a requirement for an experienced Technical Lead to support the development and evolution of a large-scale Azure-hosted platform built with .NET and React.
The system is a business-critical application with a legacy MVC foundation, alongside modern cloud components including Azure Functions, APIs, and modern React frontends. This role requires someone comfortable operating in a brownfield environment, balancing feature delivery with gradual architectural improvement and reduction of technical debt.
You will provide technical leadership to a team of 7 developers, while remaining hands-on with development (roughly 60/40 technical leadership vs coding).

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop and maintain backend services using Golang
Build and deploy scalable Cloud platforms on GCP – AWS or Azure is fine
Good experience with SQL and working with large datasets.
Confident on the Frontend, working with Typescript & React.
Contribute to system architecture and technical decision-making
Develop RESTful APIs and event-driven microservices
Work with cloud-native technologies including containers and serverless
Implement CI/CD pipelines, Terraform and infrastructure-as-code
Other non-essential skills include: Machine Learning, .Net, Testing.
Open to mentoring junior developers and leading on projects.
Salary: £75,000-£85,000

We are seeking an experienced Senior Web Application Developer to join our Core Engineering team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting web-based enterprise software, primarily written in F#. Reporting to the Development Manager, you’ll collaborate with the team to analyze requirements, specify systems, and develop new features for existing systems or entirely new solutions. This role also involves managing small teams of developers for independent projects, driving best practices, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software.
As a Senior Developer, you will also be involved in guiding clients to successful solutions, maintaining software dependencies, writing reports and queries for SQL databases, and ensuring proper packaging and delivery of software.
