What You Need To Succeed - Automation Consultant
Experience in a technical consultant or IT operations role.
Knowledge of automation runbook tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef or similar platforms.
Creating a workflow design demonstrating process mapping, problem solving and decision modelling.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, PowerShell, Groovy, and Bash.
Experience with orchestration languages such as YAML.
Familiarity with REST APIs, web services, and integrating automation with third-party tools.
Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools.

The firm is medium sized growing practice with a focus on architecturally challenging buildings design projects. They work on a wide range of projects, ranging from very small up to £50m. Engineers are encouraged to take responsibility for their own projects, attend meetings and liaise with clients and architects. This firm is looking for top class candidates who will fit in well with their existing team and help them take their business from strength to strength. You must have varied buildings design experience ideally working for a reputable UK based structural engineering firm. Technical excellence is a must, as are strong communication skills and architectural flair. You should be keen to work on a variety of projects and your CV should demonstrate that you have experience of working on a range of buildings structures and a range of size of projects. Priority will be given to candidates who are already London based. Ideally you will have refurbishment and timber experience as well as new build.
