The Role

You will join the cybersecurity team within a specialist Microsoft consultancy thats growing rapidly across the UK and globally. The team currently numbers around 15 within a 60-person business and is expanding fast including the recent onboarding of a major financial services client.

As a Microsoft Sentinel Engineer, you will design, implement, and optimise Sentinel solutions across enterprise environments. You will connect multiple data sources, write complex KQL queries, build automation playbooks, and work closely with clients to strengthen their security operations and response capabilities.

This is a technically advanced role that combines engineering depth with real client interaction ideal for someone who enjoys both hands-on work and architectural thinking.

What You Will Be Doing

• Design, configure, and deliver Sentinel SIEM solutions for enterprise clients.
• Develop and optimise automation rules, playbooks, and runbooks using Logic Apps and Power Automate.
• Write and fine-tune Kusto Query Language (KQL) queries to analyse and visualise raw security data.
• Integrate third-party tools (firewalls, IAM, telemetry) into Sentinel.
• Use MITRE ATT&CK to anticipate and counter adversarial activity.
• Apply cost-optimisation principles (data tiering, filtering).
• Collaborate with security architects to improve internal policies and ISO 27001 alignment.
• Act as an escalation point within the SOC and mentor junior engineers.

What We Are Looking For

• 3+ years experience as a Microsoft Sentinel or SIEM Engineer.

• Strong technical background across Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, and cybersecurity.

• Hands-on experience with KQL, PowerShell, and ideally Python.

• Proven experience automating processes using Logic Apps, Playbooks, or Terraform.

• Understanding of encryption, data protection, and incident response.

• Confident communicator, capable of working in client-facing scenarios.

• Ideally certified in one or more of:

• SC-200 (Security Operations Analyst)

• AZ-500 (Azure Security Engineer)

• SC-100 (Cybersecurity Architect highly desirable)

• CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or Ethical Hacker

Key Responsibilities:

• Onboarding assets into an existing Splunk Cloud instance
• Ensure successful integration and configuration of assets into the platform.

The Role: Information Security Manager

We re searching for a practical, proactive, mid-to-senior InfoSec practitioner who thrives on doing not just advising.

This is a delivery-focused role, perfect for someone who enjoys:

What You ll Be Doing

• Own and manage all information security incidents & organisational risks
• Maintain and evolve our Information Security Management System (ISMS)
• Lead policy creation, updates, and compliance tracking
• Drive continuous improvement of security practices and behaviours
• Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials Plus, UK GDPR, and MOD CSM v3/v4
• Plan, coordinate, and support internal/external audits and pen tests
• Embed security into projects, cloud services, and software delivery
• Deliver engaging security training and awareness sessions
• Contribute to Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, and internal audit
• Act as TwinStream s primary point of contact for all things InfoSec

What You ll Bring

• Proven experience as an Information Security Manager or similar
• Strong experience in incident management, risk governance, and practical InfoSec delivery

Your new role

Your role as the Microsoft 365 Administrator will be to manage and optimise the Microsoft 365 environment, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, Office applications, OneDrive and Viva Engage. You will ensure these platforms are secure, resilient and aligned to the evolving needs of the business.

You will stay up to date on developments across the Microsoft 365 platform, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance user experience, strengthen security and streamline processes. You will ensure improvements are Embedded effectively across the business by effectively communicating these to your team and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible and provide support for our Exchange Online environment, including mailboxes, groups, resources, email encryption, signatures, mail flow and support of email clients including Outlook, Outlook on the Web and mobile access.
• Be responsible and provide support for SharePoint, oversee site life cycle, storage allocation, and sharing controls.
• Be responsible and provide support for Teams, Outlook and other Office Applications.
• Provide support for compliance audits and reporting.
• Work with the IT security team to ensure all systems remain up to date and secure, actively supporting conditional access policies, identity and access management controls, and broader security frameworks, while assisting in the administration and optimisation of email security technologies.
• Keep up to date with the Microsoft 365 roadmap, identify upcoming changes and new features, communicate and implement appropriate changes across the business.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Hands-on experience of managing and supporting Microsoft 365 services.
• Proven ability to administrate Microsoft 365 using PowerShell and Graph.
• Technical knowledge of Microsoft 365, email security, Active Directory and Entra ID.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues and investigate solutions.
• Willingness to support all areas of the IT services user base as required.
• Excellent communication, documentation and interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a small team.
