We’re currently partnering with a growing Managed Services Provider that supports over 100 businesses and 5,000+ users across the creative and professional services sectors.

Due to continued growth, they’re looking to hire an experienced Infrastructure Engineer (Level 2 / Level 3) to join their technical operations team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys a mix of escalations, infrastructure support, cloud technologies, and project delivery within a fast-paced MSP environment.

The Role

You’ll work across a broad client base, supporting and improving modern IT environments while acting as a key escalation point for complex technical issues.

The position offers exposure to infrastructure projects, Microsoft cloud technologies, virtualisation, and client-facing engineering work.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing 2nd / 3rd line technical support across client environments
• Acting as an escalation point for infrastructure and networking issues
• Supporting and maintaining:
• Windows Server environments
• Active Directory
• Hyper-V infrastructure
• Microsoft 365
• Managing backup and disaster recovery solutions including Veeam
• Assisting with infrastructure projects including:
• Migrations
• Upgrades
• Virtualisation deployments
• Cloud implementations
• Supporting technologies such as:
• Intune
• Teams
• Mimecast
• Working directly with clients both remotely and onsite

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous experience within an IT Support, Infrastructure Engineer, or MSP environment
• Strong knowledge of:
• Windows Server
• Active Directory
• DNS / DHCP
• Group Policy
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and modern endpoint management
• Exposure to Hyper-V and backup technologies
• Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills
• A proactive and collaborative approach to support
