Data Centre Engineer - West London
£42k inclusive of shift allowance

24/7 shift pattern (4 on / 4 off - days & nights)
We’re looking for a Multi-Skilled Data Centre Engineer to join a high-performing team supporting a prestigious international financial environment.
Key responsibilities:
* Day-to-day Data Centre operations (installs, decommissions, moves, changes)
* Change & incident management with SLA ownership
* Racking, stacking, cabling, patching, and hardware support
* Vendor escorting and supervision
* Asset tracking, documentation, and inventory control
* Supporting infrastructure upgrades, outages, and maintenance windows
* Basic server config (iDRAC / iLO) and fault escalation
* Ensuring strict adherence to DC standards, security, and H&S compliance
What we’re looking for:
* Experience in Data Centre or high-risk infrastructure environments
* Strong understanding of networking & infrastructure concepts
* Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g. ServiceNow / Remedy)
* Confident working under pressure and on own initiative
* Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
* Flexible approach to shift work (24/7 environment)
* Good communication and teamwork skills
